In the side hall, the group took their seats as arranged by the reception staff. Sean sat opposite Lu Feng, a faint smile on his face, clearly the smile of a victor.
After waiting for three to five minutes, Maha walked in. As everyone prepared to get up, Maha raised his hand and gestured for them to stand up.
"Thank you all for your hard work these past two days. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you all. However, we are unable to agree to your request for collateral of our gold reserves and arms. But we have an alternative, which is our most sincere offer. If you cannot agree to it, then I can only bid you farewell."
Sean and the others looked at Maha, still feeling a little uneasy. In any case, this deal was still profitable, and the risk wasn't too great. If a risk did occur, it would be an Asian risk at best, and a global risk at worst.
"We are using minerals as a safety net, including fluorite, tin, and copper. Given that people may worry that in the event of war or a more chaotic situation, it may be impossible to recover the minerals, we are also prepared to use a portion of the orders as collateral. These arms orders are worth two billion US dollars."
“If anything unexpected happens, you can directly take the orders to the corresponding countries to pick up the weapons. This is the combination of options we can offer!” Maha said to the group.
It has to be said that they were very thoughtful. They pledged the mineral development rights, and if you were worried that you wouldn't be able to mine the minerals if war broke out, they would also give you a portion of the arms orders from overseas countries.
The previous gold reserve plan had a loophole. If these people secretly colluded with Wall Street to target Thailand and then withdraw the gold reserves, Thailand would be completely finished, and international trade would be completely cut off.
Sean whispered among himself and the others, seemingly quite satisfied with the plan.
Lu Feng took a deep breath. This matter was considered settled. He looked at Su Yourong beside him and asked in a low voice, "What do you think?"
Su Yourong smiled and said in a low voice, "I want weapons more!"
Lu Feng smiled but didn't say anything after listening. Did they really think that he could just go to those countries that sell arms with a simple arms order collateral agreement?
Let alone individuals, how many countries have been scammed?
After communicating with the group, Sean said, "We agree to the plan, but the specific mineral and arms orders still need to be negotiated in detail. Now is a critical time, and time is tight, so I think both sides should show greater sincerity and quickly draft an agreement in order to solve Thailand's urgent problem."
Everything went smoothly thereafter. After negotiations, the European delegation took over several copper mines in Mandalay, all of which were in operation and in full swing. The 2 billion euro arms deal, which was backed by 1.5 billion euros, was also taken by the European delegation.
Lu Feng and his group secured the fluorite mine with a budget of US$1.5 billion, along with a 10% stake in the Bangkok port as collateral.
These pledges do not mean that these individuals have the right to exercise their rights. The agreement clearly states that this right can only be exercised if the Thai side is unable to recover the funds from these individuals within one year.
The agreement was very long, and the court staff were working hard to draft it. They printed out a version, but it wasn't suitable, so they rushed to revise it. They were busy until 1 a.m. before it was finally signed.
Lu Feng looked at the half-foot-high agreement and confidentiality agreement and shook his hand. No wonder leaders only sign one word at those large signing ceremonies. If leaders were to sign these things, they would probably ruin them.
At 2 a.m., Lu Feng drove back to the hotel with the agreements stacked half a foot high in the air. He then casually packed and sealed the agreements before sending them onto the plane.
"That's basically it. Go back tomorrow after you wake up. Prepare the funds when you get back. Although the appointment is for this Friday, we won't be too passive if anything changes." Lu Feng instructed the two of them.
"Then Mr. Lu, get some rest!" Zhenkun said, then turned and left.
Su Yourong stood at the door of Lu Feng's room, not leaving, and said to Lu Feng, "Open the door!"
“Go back to your room. You’ve been here for several days, and apart from going back to put your suitcase away, you haven’t gone back at all.” Lu Feng stared at her and said, “You’re making a fool of yourself.”
"Who dares to laugh at us? Even in our current state, believe it or not, if you put the old King of Thailand here, he wouldn't dare to laugh." Su Yourong said with a hint of arrogance, "Open the door, go back and wash up."
Because of security concerns, there were guards stationed at each building entrance, and Lu Feng didn't dare to stay in the stairwell for long, fearing that someone would come and ask questions, which would be even more embarrassing.
Opening the door, Su Yourong strode in, casually tossing her bag onto the sofa and saying, "I never thought I'd have a day like this in my life. Now I'm a worldly person. I'll have another thing to brag about when I'm at a banquet in Hong Kong with those old ladies."
"Didn't you say you weren't going to invest? Why did you end up paying two hundred million?" Lu Feng asked, closing the door.
"Why not invest if it can make money? You've already poured a billion into it, what am I afraid of?" Su Yourong began to take off her clothes and said, "I don't have high expectations, just making tens of millions is enough. Hurry up and take your clothes off too, it's almost three o'clock."
Lu Feng was speechless at her behavior and quickly declined, but the two had become very familiar with each other over the years, and even pretending to be angry and annoyed was of no use.
The next day, when the sun was high in the sky, Lu Feng finally woke up. Sean and his group had already left on a private jet. Zhenkun made several calls to Lu Feng's room, but no one answered.
After waking up, he hurriedly ate a bite of food and went to see Maha to say goodbye. When he left, police cars led the way and the convoy took him all the way to the airport. They even delayed several flights so that Lu Feng's private plane could take off first.
Two hours later, it landed at Shenzhen Airport, then took off again, circled around for a while, and landed in Hong Kong.
