They talked on the phone for over an hour, and Amy only said that she would report the matter, and that she also believed that such cooperation was very necessary for both parties.
They then talked about their lives. Amy told Lu Feng that she graduated from Harvard and joined AMD five years ago. She had never been in a relationship because she felt that other men were not good enough for her, and that only someone as globally renowned as Lu Feng deserved to be her boyfriend.

Amy did know Zhang Fengxia. The two had been in the same interest club. Although they weren't exactly best friends, they were quite close during their school days.
Amy was shocked when she learned about Lu Feng and Zhang Fengxia's relationship. She said, "She returned to China after graduation and we couldn't contact her anymore. I never expected to reconnect with her in this way. It's really surprising."
"Then you can go and have a good talk with her. I'll give you her contact information!"
Lu Feng gave Amy Zhang Fengxia's home phone number, and then called Zhang Fengxia to tell her about it. She was quite surprised that Lu Feng would run into her classmate.
"So now you want me to help you facilitate cooperation between the two parties?" Zhang Fengxia clearly sensed Lu Feng's intention to cultivate this relationship.

She explained the cooperation between the two parties. The other party was very interested, but they could not agree on the price.
Hurricane Semiconductor's wafer price is around $18,000 to $19,000. The other party has accurately determined the cost price and only offers a profit of $500 per wafer. At this price, if the yield rate or other costs are slightly higher, it will result in a loss.
On the last night before their departure, in order to facilitate cooperation, the delegation organized a dinner, with Zhang Fengxia acting as the matchmaker between the two parties.
The meal was very good. Because some key figures were present, there was no need to worry about the previous restrictions. Lu Feng offered an extremely low price at the dinner: $19,500 per wafer, a ten-year contract, and the price of a six-inch wafer would decrease year by year.
Based on this cost, Hurricane Semiconductor is not making a profit, as half of the cost is for transportation.
They also figured out that Lu Feng wouldn't make money in this deal, so they agreed quite readily. The dinner party ended at 10 p.m., and AMD would send a team to the Tianjin factory for inspection within a month. If the inspection was successful, the two parties would sign a contract.
This trip resulted in many deals, but compared to these deals, the WTO issue was the most important. In that year, the two sides reached a preliminary agreement on the WTO issue, but they still spent more than three years polishing the details.
After the dinner party ended, Lu Feng escorted Zhang Fengxia downstairs. A wind was blowing outside; it was already November 1st. Lu Feng took off his coat and draped it over her shoulders, asking, "Is Miaomiao home alone?"
“There are childcare facilities available. The apartments have professional childcare services.” Zhang Fengxia asked Lu Feng, “I don’t understand why you agreed to such a low price. Their production costs are very high. Even if the price per piece is 23,000 US dollars, I believe they would still agree.”
Lu Feng let out a long sigh, took out a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and said, "We don't have a choice right now. As long as we don't lose money, we can do it.
