Chapter 1300 Wedding

In November, the R&D company was officially reorganized, splitting into three parts: mobile phone R&D department, computer R&D department, and communications R&D department. Two vice presidents were promoted, each responsible for their respective projects, thus eliminating many intermediate links.

With the reorganization completed, Lu Feng briefly reviewed Hurricane Capital's profitability this year. In the first ten months, Giti Mobile's net profit exceeded 500 million yuan, while United Securities' net profit reached a staggering 2.3 billion yuan. Hurricane Semiconductor earned 80 million yuan in ten months, and Huasha turned a profit with a net profit of over one million yuan, basically covering the company's operations.

All of Hurricane Capital's businesses became profitable from then on. Before the end of the year, Lu Feng handed the company over to Zhu Lidong and a few others, and took Jiang Xiaoyan, Su Yourong, and Zhang Fengxia on an early honeymoon trip.

Our first stop was my hometown. Over the years, this small town has hardly changed. It's still a dusty intersection, and the tallest building is a seven-story hotel. Downstairs is a Cantonese tea restaurant, the most upscale dim sum place in the area.

A ten-minute motorcycle ride to the left of the intersection leads to what used to be a small cannery. A short distance further east is Ren Qianbo's factory, which remains a desolate wasteland overgrown with weeds.

Zhang Fengxia chattered on about her initial thoughts when she came here with Gao Zhiwei. She felt like she was going to be sold to a mountain to be someone's wife. She also talked about her first impression of Lu Feng, making everyone laugh so hard they couldn't stand up straight.

The place wasn't big, and as they walked, they returned to the place they had rented before. Downstairs, people were chatting in twos and threes. Lu Feng saw a familiar face and wanted to go over and say hello, but Jiang Xiaoyan stopped him.

Life is like a movie, now replaying scenes from the past, from Jiang Xiaoyan to Zhang Fengxia, and then to Su Yourong, this small city holds countless stories.

Many things are quite poignant to talk about now. The people and events of that time are now difficult to recount. No one could have imagined today, and even fewer could have imagined that one day we would walk the same path again.

Lu Feng stood in front of the small workshop. Since it was smashed, no one had taken care of it. As for what Zhou Jianguo and Sun Longbin were doing now, nobody knew.

Looking at everything before her, Jiang Xiaoyan murmured to herself, "It's like a dream!"

"Life is like a dream!" Lu Feng said to everyone, "Today it's my treat, Cantonese dim sum, order whatever you like!"

"Where are we going in a few days?" Su Yourong asked as she got into the car. "We should ask about the plane tickets in advance. There aren't many domestic flights, and it would be better for our whole family to travel by plane."

"Then let's buy an airplane next year!" Lu Feng said generously.

Amid cheers, the car arrived at the entrance of the Cantonese-style tea restaurant. Lu Feng got out and looked around. Nothing had changed over the years, and business was still good.

I found a seat, ordered some food, and listened to the various accents around me. It seemed that this kind of place was mostly frequented by people from other places.

A man in his forties standing nearby scanned them, seemingly realizing that Lu Feng was no ordinary person, and asked, "Where are you from, boss?"

"Ask me? I'm a local!" Lu Feng replied.

"You look familiar. What kind of business do you do?" the man continued to ask.

“I have an average face; everyone recognizes me. I just run a small business. What about you?” Lu Feng asked.

"I just got back from overseas and was thinking about investing in something. You don't seem like an ordinary person; you're definitely got the makings of a big business. What kind of business are you looking for? I can invest in you. My dad is quite a prominent figure in Hong Kong," the man said smugly.

Lu Feng was stunned, Zhang Fengxia was already covering her face and almost laughing uncontrollably, and Su Yourong and Jiang Xiaoyan were a little confused, not knowing what had happened.

The waiter had noticed the conversation and came over with the small teapot. While refilling the water, he said in a low voice, "Sir, it's best to be careful when you're out and about, and don't be fooled."

"Hey, what did I lie about? How dare you talk like that?" the man said, looking annoyed.

"I wasn't talking about you. I was saying that a long time ago, a marketing manager from Wahaha was scammed here. It's best to be careful," the waiter said with a smile.

Lu Feng, lighting a cigarette, couldn't help but chuckle. Jiang Xiaoyan finally couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong?"

“Haven’t you heard him say that?” Zhang Fengxia said with a smile, “Back then, he completely fooled Gao Zhiwei here, calling him Jack and Fuck.”

"Let's not dwell on the past!" Lu Feng said awkwardly, waving his hand.
