Secretary Cui followed Huang Youwei over and raised his hand to greet Cui Ning. Cui Ning hurriedly stepped forward to speak kindly to Huang Youwei and explain what had happened earlier.
"Do you really need to tell me all this?" Huang Youwei put his hands behind his back, walked over to Jin Tingting, and smiled, "Tingting, you're off work?"
"I took leave. President Lu has come all this way, so I wanted to have a meal with him."
"Such a big favor?" Huang Youwei looked at Lu Feng.
“Mr. Huang may not know this, but a few months ago I went to Hangzhou to handle a dispute and happened to stay near Tingting’s school. That’s when I ran into her. I didn’t have much to do at the time, and we got to know each other after a while,” Lu Feng said.
"Oh? This is perfect, really perfect, what a coincidence!" Huang Youwei said with a half-smile.
"Maybe this is fate. Let's not stand here anymore, let's go inside."
"Who are these two?" Huang Youwei looked at Lu Feng with a different gaze. He had met Jiang Xiaoyan before, and asked, "Mr. Lu, aren't you going to explain?"
He seemed to have caught Lu Feng red-handed, and Lu Feng was amused by his expression. He introduced her, "This is Zhang Fengxia, my secretary. She's a genuine overseas returnee. She's not after money; she just wants to learn some experience from me."
"You haven't paid me for months," Zhang Fengxia said, rolling her eyes.
"This is...."
"Hello, Secretary Huang. My name is Su Yourong. I am the General Manager of Shengshi Aviation Trade, the Chairman of Tianyu Service Trade, and the Vice President of the Global Navigation Association." Su Yourong introduced herself, and her long list of titles even made Lu Feng seem a little overwhelmed.
"International trade, exports?" Huang Youwei was quite surprised. He extended his hand, shook it, and asked, "Do you deal in bulk goods?"
"Mainly fabrics, dyes, silk, or related items."
Clearly, Su Yourong's current industry is more lucrative than Lu Feng's. Everyone is advocating for going global, and while the goods can be produced, selling them is the real challenge. Therefore, various coastal counties and cities are very interested in companies like Su Yourong's that have connections.
After exchanging pleasantries, everyone entered the restaurant. Huang Youwei naturally took the seat of honor, with Lu Feng to his left and Jin Tingting to his right. Su Yourong was clearly particular about her seat and sat directly next to Lu Feng. Zhang Fengxia didn't want to sit next to her, so she sat next to Jin Tingting. The remaining two people, Secretary Cui and the Cui brothers, sat together.
This restaurant is very popular, but their food is served quickly and in huge portions, probably because Huang Youwei was recognized.
"Mr. Lu, I must say you have a really good eye. The future prospects of the electronics industry are very good. I've actually been following you closely, and I read all the news about you." Huang Youwei raised his glass and said, "Your idea is correct, provided that you can make money and grow the business. But I trust you too. You're such a clever person, and you're very reliable!"
"Mr. Huang, you're too kind! Let's have a toast!" Lu Feng clinked glasses and drank it all in one gulp.
Huang Youwei drank half of his drink, put it down, glanced at everyone present, and said, "Today, none of you here are ordinary people..."
Before he could finish speaking, Secretary Cui was so frightened that he hurriedly stood up and pulled Cui Ning up with his bare hands.
"Sit down, I wasn't talking about you." Huang Youwei looked at Lu Feng and said, "I appreciate your kindness, but you're a dragon, you need to soar through the clouds. Our place is too small to withstand your antics. If things go smoothly, you can come to me next year. Free land, free loans, and even tax exemption!"
Jin Tingting listened in bewilderment and looked at Lu Feng with some confusion. Didn't he say that everything went very smoothly? Uncle Huang's words sounded like he was telling her to leave.
“Mr. Huang, I shouldn’t say much sitting here, this isn’t my idea. But I understand what you mean by this meal. You don’t want to take any risks at all, and you even hope that if he succeeds, he’ll build a factory here, creating jobs and increasing taxes.” Su Yourong looked at him and said, “Isn’t that… a bit…?”
Huang Youwei was embarrassed by being exposed. He coughed twice and was about to speak when Lu Feng spoke first, scolding, "What nonsense are you talking about? Do you have any right to speak?"
Su Yourong glared angrily at Lu Feng, who was about to argue, but she took a deep breath and held back.
"Mr. Huang, she's just a woman, she doesn't know any better, please don't take offense." Lu Feng poured himself a glass of baijiu, raised his glass and said, "I apologize to you!"
After saying that, he drank it all in one gulp.
"Alright, alright, I know you're pretty busy too. When did you book the tickets?" Huang Youwei asked directly.
Lu Feng waved his hand, ignoring Huang Youwei, and turned to Jin Tingting, saying, "Tingting, I really owe you a lot for what happened last time. Otherwise, I would have been bullied by others while I was alone in another city. In particular, your uncle spoke up for me and even held a special meeting to discuss and express the relevant spirit of the meeting. I really want to find an opportunity to thank you."
Huang Youwei was stunned by these words. Had things gotten this big? They even held a special meeting just for him?
"No, that's too expensive, you can't accept that." Jin Tingting waved her hand nervously.
Lu Feng stood up and said, "I'd like to toast you."
Jin Tingting breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Don't drink too much. You've had quite a bit tonight."
Lu Feng downed his drink in one gulp, and Zhang Fengxia hurriedly urged him not to drink too much, as he had already downed a bottle of baijiu that night and looked somewhat drunk.
"It's alright, it's lively. If we don't drink now, when will we?" Su Yourong said casually. She was all too familiar with this kind of occasion. Even if she drank herself into the hospital, she would still drink!
Lu Feng put down his glass and said, "We've finished our drink. You're about to start working soon and don't have a place to stay. I bought an extra house recently, and I was thinking of returning it, but then I thought about how a few hundred thousand yuan isn't worth it, so I kept it."
