Chapter 30 I am his older brother

Ren Qianbo laughed, patted Lu Feng on the shoulder, and said, "Boss Lu is generous to give six points!"

The words have already been spoken, six percent it is. He certainly wouldn't dare raise the commission today; he'll earn it as long as he can. However, from his words, it's clear that things aren't looking too good.

"Big Head!" Lu Feng called Big Head over and said, "Be careful, things might not be peaceful today."

"knew!"

The day went smoothly, and the goods were shipped out successfully. However, the quality of the fruit declined somewhat. Although the volume of goods shipped increased, the profit decreased. By sunset, the profit had dropped from over 10,000 yuan at its peak to 1,800 yuan today.

Lu Feng had nearly 250,000 yuan in funds, enough for him to build a factory. Even if he didn't earn a single penny and just played along with Ren Qianbo, it wouldn't matter.

After arranging everything in the evening, Lu Feng bought groceries and rushed home. Jiang Xiaoyan changed into a new outfit and put on high heels, looking graceful and elegant. It was clear that she had become more and more feminine lately.

She smiled more often, and even seemed radiant.

While eating, Lu Feng mentioned wanting to buy a TV, and Jiang Xiaoyan advised him to spend less money. Suddenly, a series of rapid knocks sounded at the door.

"Wu Hongyu again?"

Lu Feng frowned inwardly. This couldn't go on every day. Just as he was about to speak, Da Tou's voice rang out from outside the door: "Brother Feng, are you home? Something's happened."

Lu Feng's heart skipped a beat, and he knew something was wrong. He hurriedly opened the door, and Da Tou, panting, shouted, "Someone smashed up our workshop and is going to beat us up!"

Who is it?

"I don't know. They said they were from the underworld and wanted to charge me. Before I could even say anything, I grabbed a stick and started smashing things. They even tried to hit me." Big Head was almost crying with anxiety.

"What should we do?" Jiang Xiaoyan was completely at a loss.

"I'll go take a look," Lu Feng said, turning to leave.

"Don't go! What if you get beaten up?" Jiang Xiaoyan grabbed him, preventing him from leaving.

"It's alright. Just lock the door at home and don't open it for anyone who knocks." After Lu Feng finished speaking, he turned around and left. Jiang Xiaoyan had never experienced anything major before, and she was so anxious that she couldn't even eat. She sat on the bed holding Duo Duo, constantly muttering that she hoped he would be safe and sound.

Lu Feng went downstairs, turned around and said to Da Tou, "Get in the car!"

"Brother Feng, it must have been Ren Qianbo who hired them. They smashed all the glass and even the packaging machine. Should we get some more people before we go over? Your wife's concerns are valid," Da Tou said from the back seat.

"Big Head, remember this: Brother Feng is no good. As for a few scoundrels scaring me away, I might as well quit my factory and go home to wash diapers."

After saying that, he twisted the accelerator and sped away.

The workshop was a mess. The power lines were cut, and the workers were gathered in a group. By the moonlight, you could see that all the glass was shattered, the cans were smashed, and there was soup and water all over the ground.

"Boss Lu is here!"

"Mr. Lu, what should we do?"

Lu Feng parked his motorcycle and asked, "Where are they?"

Han Dong walked over and said, "They ran away. They smashed the power switch and ran away. We can't find them at all."

"Is the person injured?"

"No!"

"Everyone, nail the doors and windows shut, reconnect the electricity, pack up and go home. We'll settle our wages tonight," Lu Feng instructed.

"So, are you going to work tomorrow?"

Lu Feng went inside, grabbed a flashlight, and looked around. The packaging machine was damaged. It would be difficult to find someone who could repair such an imported machine in a short time.

"Everyone, please be quiet. The packaging machine is broken, and this workshop can't continue operating. If you want to continue working with me, go back and wait for me for a week. This kind of small workshop is too small. I'm going to build a big factory, and you can come to work there. If you want a salary, come and collect it tomorrow morning."

The crowd was chattering, most people were asking for their wages, and there were so many cases of wages being delayed these days that no one could believe it!

The workers had already left. Looking at the mess inside, Da Tou squatted on the ground, feeling somewhat discouraged. He had been thinking of working for a few more years, but it had only been a short time, and it was all over.

Han Dong walked over and said, "Boss Lu, I want to go to the new factory with you!"

Lu Feng nodded and asked, "Which thug around here is the most famous?"

"Brother Feng, what are you doing?" Big Head sensed something was wrong.

"You think you can just smash my stall? Not so easy. If you come and smash it today, I'll set up a factory tomorrow and no one will dare to come back. If you want to do business, you have to intimidate these petty thieves first. No matter how much money someone offers you, they'd better think twice."

Lu Feng's words carried a chill. Although they were calm, they sent a shiver down the spines of both Da Tou and Han Dong. In their eyes, Lu Feng was a cheerful and easy-going person.

But his ruthless side at this moment sent chills down their spines.

"I know a guy called Mad Dog who works at the Monopoly Hotel; everyone has to give him face," Han Dong said.

Lu Feng nodded, stubbed out his cigarette, stood up and said, "You two go back and get some rest."

"Brother Feng, what are you going to do?" Da Tou stared intently at Lu Feng and said, "Don't go. Those guys are ruthless. They fight like their lives depend on it."

“Yes, it’s already like this,” Han Dong also advised.

"Hehe!" Lu Feng laughed: "Among ordinary people, the truly ruthless ones are always the businessmen. You guys go back to sleep."

"I'll go with you!"

"I'll go too, so that we can look out for each other if anything happens."

Lu Feng didn't say much, and the three of them rode their motorcycles straight to the city center. The Monopoly was a dance hall, which was equivalent to a nightclub in later times. It was very chaotic and had high prices.
