Twenty million?
Just playing around?
"What are you going to do?" Zhang Fengxia was shocked by his extravagant spending. If this money were withdrawn from the finance department, the employees' salaries for next month would be gone, and the company could easily collapse instantly.
“Those people want to drain my cash flow, so I’ll drain theirs first. You figure out the factory’s funding problems.” Lu Feng looked at Zhang Fengxia and said, “It’s time for you to try taking charge on your own.”
"Me?" Zhang Fengxia said awkwardly, "I don't understand finance!"
"Do I know anything about starting a business?" Lu Feng looked at her and said, "It's very simple. Find a few people from banks, have a meal with them, and then tell them how profitable your company will be in the future. Give them some kickbacks. If that doesn't work, find someone from the municipal government to provide a guarantee."
“We still owe the municipal government more than 200 million yuan. Do you think they would dare to guarantee it for us?” Zhang Fengxia rubbed her head. This company looked exceptionally large on the surface.
The core management team all knew that they were heavily in debt. At the beginning of the year, she was still thinking about paying off the municipal debt this year, but unexpectedly, sales were so good that they still didn't make any money.
“Don’t worry, that’s how starting a business is. No one makes money right away,” Lu Feng said, standing up. “I’ll call a meeting with the finance department and have them buy a plane ticket while I’m at it.”
"Do you need me to go the day after tomorrow?"
"What are you going to do?" Lu Feng asked, looking at her. "I'm flying directly to Sichuan."
Zhang Fengxia muttered a few words, somewhat dissatisfied. She had barely seen him during this period, and when he finally came back, he scolded her. She felt that she was similar to Sister Xiaoyan, both destined to live like widows.
"What are you muttering about now?"
"It's nothing, I just missed you." Zhang Fengxia gave a sweet smile.
"Don't think about me anymore, think more about your work!"
Zhang Fengxia rolled her eyes when she heard this and followed him out.
When the finance department heard that Lu Feng was going to withdraw 20 million yuan, they were in an uproar. A few days ago, Zhu Lidong told them to be prepared to burn money, as the battle for the terminal market was about to reignite.
“President Lu, if we withdraw 20 million, we’ll only have less than 3 million left in the account. We won’t even be able to pay salaries, and a batch of suppliers are about to settle accounts. 3 million really isn’t enough.”
"And you won't say what you're going to do? This is a company, not just your business. There are many management members who hold shares as well."
"I can't say what this money will be used for right now." Lu Feng looked around, holding a pen in his hand, tapping it on the table as he spoke, "Does anyone else have any objections?"
"I object!" A man in his thirties stood up, his face cold and stern, looking like a ruthless character determined to turn the tide.
"Very good!" Lu Feng gave him an approving look and said, "You're fired!"
The man stood there dumbfounded; had he just lost his job like that?
"Mr. Lu, what I mean is..."
"Go to the personnel department to complete the formalities," Lu Feng said, looking at him.
The man felt very aggrieved and left the office after stammering for a while.
“You can discuss this with me, but it depends on what the issue is. This matter is settled.” Lu Feng stood up and said, “Buy me a plane ticket to Guangzhou. I hope that the 20 million will be ready by the time I leave. Also, after I leave, help Boss Zhang with the loan. I believe that as long as we get through this period, we will eventually see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
During this period, as sales increased, the entire factory relaxed, especially the management. The management was on edge all day again.
Everyone thought Jiafeng Electronics had achieved victory, but now they realize that it had never truly gained a foothold and was constantly teetering on the brink of bankruptcy.
The following morning, Lu Feng boarded a plane to Guangzhou. It was already the end of March. The weather here was just right, comfortable and pleasant, while over there it was unbearably hot, comparable to the height of summer.
As soon as Lu Feng entered the airport, he saw seven or eight people, with a man in his fifties or sixties standing in the middle. The man was staring at Lu Feng, as if he was waiting for him.
"Is Mr. Li waiting for me here?" Lu Feng asked, looking him up and down.
"No, I just got back. Where are you going, Mr. Lu?" Mr. Li glanced behind Lu Feng and asked, "Why didn't you bring any bodyguards or assistants?"
"I don't really like being surrounded by people, but Mr. Li has quite the entourage. Where did he go?"
"Guess!" Mr. Li smiled slightly, exuding the charm of a refined villain from a movie, and said, "Mr. Lu, this should be Guangzhou, right? It's the only spot in the city, and Huang Youwei gave it to you. You can't let him down!"
"Don't worry, Mr. Li, I'll definitely do my job well. You came back from Sichuan, right?"
Mr. Li smiled but didn't say anything, as if everything was understood without words. He strode outside, and Lu Feng watched his departing figure.
He knew that President Li was waiting for him here. He would probably stay in Suzhou for a while until Lu Feng, this uncertain figure in the industry, disappeared, or Huang Youwei resigned.
At 9:30 a.m., the plane landed in Guangzhou. As Lu Feng stepped out of the airport, a wave of heat hit him. He looked around and realized that the phone call had indicated that a van would be coming to pick him up.
After circling around, Lu Feng found only a black minivan parked there. He went up and knocked on the window. The driver rolled down the window and glanced at Lu Feng.
"Is this the vehicle for the corporate summit forum?"
"Yes, you're from Jiafeng Electronics, right?" The driver wasn't very polite, casually grabbing a notebook from the side, glancing at it, and saying, "Lu Feng?"
"right!"
