Everyone stared wide-eyed at Lu Feng, extremely curious about his identity and what kind of big shot he was to have such a status.
Many more people stared in disbelief, their mouths agape.
The woman beside Tang Zhongren was stunned into silence. She had always thought that Tang Shao was the richest and Nan Ge was the most powerful.
But what was happening before her eyes was challenging her nerves. Her eyes were fixed on Lu Feng, and she kept asking herself, just how much terrifying power did this person, who looked even younger than her, possess?
Lu Feng glanced at the group of people. Now that he had the upper hand, he smiled, opened a bottle of red wine on the table, poured himself a glass, drank it all in one gulp, and put down the glass, saying, "Let's talk. If we still can't reach an agreement today, then I'll fly directly to New York and we'll talk somewhere else."
"Who should we talk to first?" General Manager Zheng asked.
Lu Feng looked Zhenkun up and down, then returned to President Zheng and said, "Let's talk to you first!"
"Please!" General Manager Zheng gestured for them to enter.
Lu Feng turned his head and glanced at Tang Zhongren. The other man's eyes were full of gloom. He was unhappy, very unhappy. He originally thought that Lu Feng would be particularly miserable tonight, but he didn't expect this situation.
Having lived in his comfort zone since childhood, Lu Feng is the first person to dare to humiliate him like this without any consequences.
Lu Feng smiled at him. He couldn't be bothered with this kind of person. His family was in business, which had nothing to do with him. They couldn't bring down Jiafeng Electronics, and Lu Feng couldn't bring down his shipbuilding group either.
As he walked out, Feng Zhiyao stood there and snorted disdainfully, saying, "If you're not going to talk to us, then forget it. Let's go back."
Lu Feng stopped in his tracks upon hearing this, looked at him, and said, "So impatient?"
“You look down on us, what’s the point of saying all that? If my dad hadn’t forced me, I really wouldn’t have wanted to come.” Feng Zhiyao’s face was full of displeasure, even a bit resentful.
"In business, there's no such thing as looking up or down, only whether you make money or not," Lu Feng said before walking outside.
As Lu Feng left, everyone relaxed, looking at each other and realizing they had lost interest in dancing. Security personnel also came out to maintain order and prepare to restore the nightlife atmosphere.
Tang Zhongren stood there stiffly like a piece of wood. Lu Feng's last glance at him was an extreme insult to him.
His face was gloomy, his eyes revealed viciousness, and his fists were clenched. For the first time in more than thirty years, he felt that life should not be like this. He was going to make something of himself and one day he would personally destroy Lu Feng in the business world.
If Tang Zhongren's father knew that his spoiled son had become more positive because of Lu Feng, he would probably give Lu Feng a huge sum of money.
Tang Zhongren was intelligent, but he used his intelligence elsewhere. He never dreamed that after taking over the shipbuilding group, his first confrontation with Lu Feng would bankrupt him. Of course, that's a story for later.
A dozen minutes later, in a conference room at a business hotel, everyone sat down and began the third round of negotiations. This time, the other party was very sincere and presented their best investment proposal.
Downstairs in the lounge, President Du sat there with a smile on his face, looking at Feng Zhiyao, whose face was full of unhappiness, and said, "Young Master Feng, don't get so worked up."
"What did you call me?" Feng Zhiyao asked, staring at President Du. He hated being called Young Master Feng, as it made him sound like a good-for-nothing.
"President Feng, President Feng!" President Du said to Zhenkun, "Uncle Kun, I am the boss of Starry Sky Media. My surname is Du. We mainly make movies and do advertising. Currently, we are doing quite well."
“Starry Sky Media? Sounds familiar!” Zhenkun replied casually.
“My company has been doing well lately, and I was just thinking if I could meet with Mr. Feng to raise some funds. I don’t need to give him money; I can give him some shares in Sun Hung Kai!” Mr. Du said with a smile.
Free shares?
Zhenkun saw right through what President Du was up to: he wanted to use Sun Hung Kai's name to tell some small and medium-sized financing companies, "Sun Hung Kai has already invested, why aren't you investing?"
"We'll see when the time comes!"
After waiting for almost an hour, Feng Zhiyao couldn't hold back any longer and stood up, saying, "We're not waiting anymore. What's the point of waiting for him? It's like we're begging him. Let's go back to sleep."
The door opened, and Li Fang walked in, saying politely, "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting. Mr. Lu has already finished his business."
