Chapter 457 Formal Cooperation

"The changes are quite significant, but not to the point of being unrecognizable. I'll pack up and we'll leave." Lu Feng turned around to get his cards.

The Ace of Hearts went into the room and looked around. Lu Feng turned around and saw her standing opposite him. He said in a deep voice, "You're not allowed in my room. Let's go."

"Are you always this fierce?" Ace of Hearts asked, somewhat displeased.

"I get fiercer when I'm around pretty girls." Lu Feng said, closing the door behind him as he left.

"Are you working for someone else, or is this your own company?" Ace of Hearts asked, clutching her crossbody bag. Her big eyes gave her a pure and innocent look, reminiscent of a naive and sweet character from an idol drama.

"confidential!"

"Are you married? That woman yesterday didn't look like your wife; she looked much older than you." She chewed gum, pulled a pack from her pocket, and handed it to Lu Feng, saying, "I bought some gum too; smoking is bad!"

“I have my own. I hope you'll be professional and not ask unnecessary questions.” Lu Feng stopped and said to her, “Understand?”

"I just want to learn more about you. Which province in mainland China are you from? My ancestors were from the mainland too."

Seeing that Lu Feng didn't seem to be buying it, she was quite discouraged. After following him for a few minutes, she asked, "Just because I'm pretty? You don't want to talk to me? Why?"

"Because the prettier the girl, the more likely she is to lie." Lu Feng said, glancing around. He saw table 799 and strode over to it.

He exchanged his chips for his cards and immediately plunged into the battle.

A man in casual clothes sat opposite Lu Feng, sized him up, and asked, "You're the kid who made a million yesterday, right?"

“Right!” Lu Feng took the cards, didn’t even glance at them, and said, “Blind bet, stand guard, I’ll bet 50,000!”

This move drew everyone's attention. A concealed 50,000; if they saw the cards, that would be 150,000. After a few rounds, it could become another million-dollar game.

"I'll go with you!" the man said with a sneer, puffing on his cigar. "I've got plenty of money, you know that?"

"I know!" Lu Feng replied expressionlessly, already guessing that this man was probably sent by the company to deliver the money.

The Ace of Hearts watched from the sidelines, not participating, silently calculating the time and observing the people around him, noting how many were individual players and how many were pitchers sent by the company.

In the first round, amidst everyone's gasps, Lu Feng drew three sixes and won over a million. In the second round, the man started to fuel the fire, piling up the funds on the table to seven million, but in the end, Lu Feng still won.

The third round saw the score reach tens of millions. The onlookers gave the man smoking the cigar a nickname: "The Money-Making Boy." He wasn't a great player, but he had a really big temper.

After losing 21 million in four hands, the Ace of Hearts gently patted Lu Feng's shoulder and whispered, "Let's go!"

Lu Feng didn't invest much this time, immediately played his cards, stood up, and prepared to leave.

"Where are you going?" the man smoking a cigar snapped impatiently. "You think you can just walk away after winning money? Sit down!"

"I'm not playing this anymore, let's play something else," Lu Feng said casually.

"Brother, you can't do this. Finish this round, understand?" He winked at Lu Feng and waved his hands repeatedly, saying, "Pick up your cards and keep playing."

"I'm not playing anymore, my girlfriend has something to do." After saying that, Lu Feng left without looking back, pulling the Ace of Hearts with him.

"He's still at the poker table. He'll have to settle the money he lost to you and the money between him and these small players later and report it. It's easy to do it once, but after a few rounds of back and forth, it'll be harder to calculate. Some of the money was lost to small players, or some was won from them." The Ace of Hearts chewed his gum and asked, "Which table?"

"283!"

Lu Feng sat down at the table and said, "Deal the cards!"

The dealer glanced at Lu Feng, dealt him cards, and a young man in his late twenties walked over. He had a gentle and refined appearance and sat down opposite him, saying, "Count me in."

"Count me in!" The Ace of Hearts sat down next to Lu Feng.

The Ace of Hearts sat on the sidelines, stirring things up. In the first round, over ten million chips piled up on the table, scaring everyone else into not daring to bet. At this point, even someone with three Aces would be too scared to throw their cards away.

"Let's increase the bet, let's round it up to twenty million!" said the young man opposite.

"That's so boring!" The Ace of Hearts chuckled and said, "I think 15,426,546.50 is a pretty good number."

Lu Feng nodded in agreement.
