Chapter 616 You Have to Think About Yourself

Hao Zhihai heard a lot about Jinfeng Logistics' activities and saw some billboards along the roadside, but he didn't pay any attention to them.

However, the local business community was in an uproar. Especially after the copper industry war, everyone was extremely wary of Lu Feng. No one cared about Jiafeng Electronics, but they had to care about Lu Feng.

The methods this person displayed in the early days of Jiafeng Electronics were quite remarkable.

The local chamber of commerce has tried to win over Lu Feng more than once or twice. But ever since the last copper industry war, when the local chamber of commerce collectively targeted Lu Feng, it has been impossible for Lu Feng to join them.

It was already past 10 p.m. when the phone rang at Hao Zhihai's house. He answered, "Who is it? In the middle of the night."

"Mr. Hao, it's me, Hu Yang!" A slightly effeminate voice came from the other end of the phone.

"What is it?"

"Mr. Hao, haven't you heard about Jinfeng Logistics lately? They've been making a huge fuss, with billboards everywhere. I've heard from insiders that Lu Feng is behind this. He said at a meeting that it's targeting the three of us." Hu Yang said worriedly on the phone.

"What are you panicking about?" Hao Zhihai said, displeased.

"President Hao, that's Lu Feng. Jiafeng Electronics is definitely the leading company in this city." Hu Yang was getting anxious. He wasn't afraid of Jiafeng Electronics entering the market, but he was afraid of Lu Feng coming in and causing trouble.

“In the logistics industry, the three of us brothers are in charge. No matter how big Jiafeng Electronics is, it can't get involved in every industry. You're the manager, don't be so timid.” Hao Zhihai warned, “No matter how rich he is, I don't respect him!”

"President Hao, we really need to pay attention to this matter. Back when Jiafeng Electronics was first established, the Copper Industry Association joined forces with copper companies across the country to surround and suppress it. Everyone thought Lu Feng was finished, but unexpectedly the Copper Industry Association was finished."

"Alright, alright, is this never going to end?" Hao Zhihai hung up the phone.

He was very dissatisfied with Hu Yang. As a professional manager, he had such little courage. The three Hao brothers had worked in the logistics industry for more than ten years to get where they are today. Who could destroy them?

He is arrogant, but he definitely has the right to be arrogant.

The business world is like Journey to the West; everyone's just messing around. Those with connections get away with nothing, while those without connections get into trouble.

When Guo Jiayang arrived at the hotel and went upstairs, he glanced at Yang Yan in the elevator. Perhaps feeling uneasy, he said, "Do a good job. You have a bright future. Only here can you unleash your full potential."

"Thank you for your encouragement, Mr. Guo," Yang Yan said politely.

Back in his room, as Yang Yan was taking off his clothes, a business card fell out of his pocket. He sat on the bed looking at the card, feeling a mix of emotions.

It felt like... well... like sitting in a hotel room looking at a pink card that's been handed to you, wanting to chat, but also feeling like it's a trap.

Yang Yan is thirty-nine this year, and will soon be forty. For someone in his position, this age is hardly considered to have a promising future. Life is nothing more than money and power.

He has little power and even less connection with money. Many people leave state-owned enterprises to start their own businesses for money, including many at the division level.

Yang Yan struggled with his thoughts for a while. He felt he should talk to Lu Feng, especially about this platform model. Based on his current understanding of private logistics companies, he believed the platform model would be difficult to survive.

"Okay, let's talk about the platform model," Yang Yan said to himself.

When a person cannot firmly say 'no,' they actually already have the answer in their heart. It's just that they need a little help from others to make this choice, which is commonly known as: half-heartedly agreeing.

The local business community is starting to stir, and many people are talking about Chia Fung Electronics when they meet. This behemoth that has risen in a short period of time is one that no one can ignore.

Jiafeng Electronics under Zhang Fengxia's management was relatively mild, mainly involving routine management, and it got along well with other companies.

Lu Feng had only been back for a short time when he ventured into the logistics industry. More importantly, their methods of doing things were different. Zhang Fengxia, on the other hand, relied on business negotiations, constantly talking to the other party. She was very proper. The local business community's evaluation of Zhang Fengxia was that she was assertive but followed the rules very well.

Lu Feng was different; he didn't speak, he just quietly did his work.

The next morning, Lu Feng sat at the entrance of the courtyard eating, while Duo Duo played with the dog nearby.

"How much summer homework have you done?" Lu Feng asked her.

"Dad, can't you talk to me about something happy?" Duoduo said to Lu Feng.

"Let's talk about something happy. After school starts, I'll personally take you to school. If you skip a single question, the teacher will give you a beating." Lu Feng said to her, "Just don't write anything, just play with the dog."

Duo Duo burst into tears and turned around to walk back.

"Mr. Lu, you're eating." Chen Hansheng walked over with a smile on his face.

"Yeah!" Lu Feng said, ignoring the reply.

"Try some of Xiu'er's pickled vegetables," Chen Hansheng said politely.

"I'm finished eating. You can go home and eat. Don't carry a bowl around like that." Lu Feng was afraid of him, so he stood up, took his bowl and chopsticks, and went home.

After finishing his meal, Lu Feng was reading the newspaper, his ears constantly ringing with the phone at home. At 8:30 a.m., under the bright sunshine, the phone suddenly rang. Lu Feng stood up as if he had been electrocuted and ran into the living room.

He answered the phone and said, "Who is this?"

"Mr. Lu, it's me, Yang Yan." Yang Yan said into the phone, "I'm calling you for no other reason than I think your platform model is unlikely to work."

Lu Feng laughed; he understood. He said, "So, what's your opinion? How about this, let's arrange a time to meet and talk? I'll come find you now, okay?"
