Yongchang, Jinchang, and Tianchang have also felt the increasing pressure from Jinfeng Logistics. At this point, they can no longer ignore the problem.
In a spacious conference room, seven or eight people were sitting. Three of them looked alike, and the three Hao brothers were absolutely famous in the city's logistics industry.
Hu Yang, sitting to the side, glanced at the managers of the other three companies. He was thin and looked somewhat frail. He said, "Mr. Hao, I don't think it's a big deal right now. Those logistics platforms have already terminated their contracts with Jinfeng."
Hao Zhihai glanced at his two brothers and said, "Second brother, third brother, what do you think?"
The second brother, Hao Zhiping, was a big, burly man with a gleaming gold chain around his neck and tattoos faintly visible on his collar. He said in a deep voice, "I think Manager Hu is right. What's there to be afraid of? That little punk can't do anything about it right now. My business hasn't been affected at all."
The third brother, Hao Zhipeng, had a somewhat effeminate appearance and wore glasses. He glanced at Hao Zhihai and said, "Based on my understanding of Lu Feng, we must eliminate this person's ambition to build his own logistics system, otherwise we will not have a good life. Let me share my thoughts. Fighting with this kind of person will not benefit anyone. Jiafeng Electronics needs logistics, so we can cooperate with him."
"Cooperate? Cooperate my ass!" Hao Zhiping slammed his fist on the table and cursed, "Who does he think he is? Cooperate with him?"
Hao Zhipeng noticed his second brother's slight frown, adjusted his glasses, and said, "Second brother, can you please stop talking nonsense?"
"Good heavens! I always say, if I don't cooperate, you're not allowed to cooperate either. Give up on that idea now!" Hao Zhiping said irritably.
“This is about discussing things,” Hao Zhihai said. “I also think cooperation is impossible. Lu Feng is aware of our existence, but he still built his own logistics platform, which shows that he doesn’t want to cooperate at all. As a great man once said, ‘Seek peace in the midst of conflict.’”
"Peace sought through compromise will perish, while peace sought through struggle will endure," said Hao Zhipeng, the third brother.
“That’s right, we have to fight him, otherwise people will think we’re made of clay.” The other two managers chimed in.
Hao Zhihai thought for a moment and said, "Let's get it done today. Find someone to personally talk to those logistics company owners and resolve the issue. Go directly to Jiafeng Electronics!"
Hao Zhihai wanted to test Lu Feng's bottom line. Being forced to go to the factory by gangsters to have his contract terminated was simply intolerable.
Around 1 p.m., Lu Feng checked the time and drove to the train station. The exit was crowded with people. Although the road construction was not good, the railways between major cities were much busier than a few years ago.
The square was filled with migrant workers carrying their luggage. With the prosperity of factories in the south, the first batch of state-owned enterprises collapsed and were merged, and the first wave of layoffs had begun to take shape, resulting in a mixed bag of people in places like the train station.
"Looking for a job?" a man in his thirties asked Lu Feng. "I can introduce you to a job."
Lu Feng straightened his clothes, stared at him for a while, and the other man looked him up and down before turning away and leaving.
An older woman walked over and asked Lu Feng, "Young man, need a place to stay?"
"Don't stay!"
Looking for a young girl?
"I'm not looking!" Lu Feng said irritably.
"Look around, they're cheap, all young girls, really energetic." The older woman seemed very interested in doing business with Lu Feng.
Helpless, Lu Feng had no choice but to walk aside and wait. A short while later, the train arrived at the station, and the crowd began to surge out. Lu Feng searched through the crowd for a long time before finally spotting Yang Yan. He waved and said, "He's here."
Yang Yan ran over carrying his bag, sweating profusely and looking somewhat disheveled, and said, "President Lu came to pick me up in person?"
"Yes, I originally ordered someone to pick me up, but then I thought it would be a bit disrespectful." Lu Feng smiled at him and said, "So I came to pick you up myself."
"Mr. Lu, you're too kind." Yang Yan looked at the crowd around him and felt quite emotional. No one knows what fate is. He was angry at work in the morning, and by noon the world had changed.
"Gentlemen, wanna go for a ride in the city?" A young man in his early twenties, with a buzz cut and tanned skin, reached out to grab Yang Yan's bag as he spoke.
"What are you doing?" Yang Yan shouted at him, "Let go!"
"Let's go, the bus is leaving from the city soon, we're just missing the two of you." The man ignored him and grabbed Yang Yan's bag, pulling him out as if he were openly robbing him.
"You fucking let go of me." Lu Feng rushed forward and grabbed his arm. This kind of soliciting behavior of his had been going on for who knows how many years.
In his previous life, Lu Feng was studying in another city. As soon as he got off at the train station, someone snatched his suitcase. They were ripping people off by force. If you dared to pull them away, the drivers and their accomplices would rush up and threaten you.
"What are you doing? Let go of me!" He glared at Lu Feng.
"You should be the one letting go of me. What are you doing in broad daylight? Are you trying to rob me?" Lu Feng shouted.
"Let's take a bus to the city!"
"We have our own car."
The young man laughed, with a hint of disdain, and said, "You think wearing a suit and trousers gives you a car? Let me tell you, this is our only bus to the city. If you miss this one, you won't get another one. And you, watch your mouth."
"Who's being rude?" Lu Feng said to the steady one.
"What do you mean?" The young man let go of Yang Yan's bag and instead yelled at Lu Feng, looking like he was about to fight.
Nearby was a group of migrant workers in their forties. Their luggage was on the ground, and several of them were sitting on it to rest. An older man stood up and advised, "Young man, forget it. They're local bullies. Don't cause trouble."
