Lu Feng saw that there were still people trying to come in at the entrance, and the security guards were stopping them. They were obviously in cahoots with these people. Lu Feng shouted at the security guards, "Don't stop them, let them in!"
The security guard opened the door, and more than twenty people rushed in, including the small business owner of the logistics company that had signed a contract with Jinfeng Logistics. The group of people standing there was dark and numerous, probably around fifty.
A small business owner walked over and was kicked by a man behind him, causing him to stumble forward. He looked at Lu Feng and said, "Mr. Lu, I...I want to terminate the contract. We're quitting."
As he spoke, tears streamed down the face of this grown man, showing just how much pressure these people were putting on him.
Lu Feng looked at the man named An Hongwei from earlier and asked, "Did they threaten you?"
An Hongwei didn't dare to speak. Once he left this door, he would have to learn to shut up if he wanted to live in peace. What family could tolerate being harassed by a scoundrel every day?
He looked at Lu Feng's face and almost cried, as if he was telling Lu Feng to quickly terminate the contract, because he didn't want to get involved in these things.
"What's your name?" Lu Feng asked one of the thugs who seemed to be the leader.
“My name is Ba Ge, Ba as in chicken ba!” Ba Ge stared at Lu Feng with a hint of mockery on his face.
“You live up to your name!” Lu Feng said, taking a step forward and staring at Ba Ge. “Hao Zhihai sent you? I haven’t even contacted him yet. He dares to provoke me like this, and you actually dare to come here. I admire your courage. Do you know how many people are in this factory? Twenty-seven thousand. They could drown you with just a spit from each of them.”
Ba Ge's eyes flickered; it would be a lie to say he wasn't afraid—this was Lu Feng's territory. However, his fear was fleeting, and the next second he stared at Lu Feng and said, "Try touching me. Do you really think I'm someone who can get away with anything? Just because you're a businessman, do you really think you're something?"
"What are you doing? Move again and I'll see!"
"Try poking it with your finger again!"
Lu Feng didn't say anything, but the people below couldn't stand it anymore and rushed up to shout.
"We're here to terminate the contract. If you want to make a move, Mr. Lu, feel free to call your men. Let me see how much influence you have. Let me tell you, if I walk out of here unscathed, you'd better watch out." Brother Ba laughed, his expression utterly disdainful, and spat on the ground, saying, "Trash!"
Lu Feng's face was extremely gloomy, and his expression was seen by Hao Zhihai, who was in a black car outside the factory gate. Hao Zhihai squinted through binoculars.
"Brother, let me see!" Hao Zhipeng said, sitting to the side, "How is it?"
"Everything's going smoothly so far. I can sense he's about to lose his temper. Being provoked like this in his own factory—if it were me, I definitely wouldn't stand for it." Hao Zhihai put down his binoculars and said, "If he dares to make a move, I'll call the police. And if he gets arrested, I have ways to get him jailed for a year or two!"
"Brother, have you taken care of everything? I heard that Lu Feng and Huang Youwei have a very close relationship," Hao Zhipeng reminded him.
"There's news that he's being transferred," Hao Zhihai said, leaning back in his seat. "The camp remains, but the soldiers come and go. We're the camp, understand?"
At this moment, not only Lu Feng, but even Zhang Fengxia had a gloomy face. This was blatant bullying and intrusion. Lu Feng glared at Ba Ge and hissed, "Call for help!!"
A group of executives nearby immediately shouted to those around them.
"Have Supervisor Li call out all the security personnel."
"Go and call all the repair and after-sales staff here, bring wrenches, damn it!"
"Call for help! Call for help!"
Sounds came from all directions, and people were already running towards the production workshop. Ba Ge panicked for a moment. He had never experienced such a scene with such a large disparity in numbers, let alone wrenches, steel pipes, and screwdrivers. What was even more outrageous was that a manager ordered someone to turn on the hundreds of tons of stamping press.
It's as if they're preparing to take these people to an assembly line and put them on a TV screen; even the most worldly-wise people can't withstand this kind of intimidation.
The others around Brother Ba turned even paler instantly.
Seeing their fear yet their continued resistance, Lu Feng felt a surge of doubt. His mind raced; someone like Hao Zhihai couldn't possibly be unaware of the consequences of bringing people to his territory to provoke him.
Ba Ge doesn't seem like someone who's missing a screw in his head.
Since they know they're there to get beaten up, their continued provocation can only mean one thing.
Lu Feng inwardly sensed something was amiss and shouted to the crowd, "Don't call anyone out, I'll handle this myself."
When Ba Ge heard Lu Feng suddenly stop calling for help, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He wasn't afraid of the workers with wrenches; he was afraid of the hundreds of tons of stamping press.
Hao Zhihai, who was outside the factory, was unaware of all this. He picked up his mobile phone and immediately called the police.
Ba Ge felt a sense of relief, but then thought it wouldn't do, and provocatively said, "President Lu, don't back down. Aren't you very arrogant? Call out your 20,000 yuan."
Lu Feng's smile returned, and he looked at him with a grin, saying, "Don't rush, how about I treat you to a meal?"
Treat yourself to a meal?
"Take them to the cafeteria, treat them to a meal, and let them experience the hospitality of our company," Lu Feng instructed several supervisors.
About a hundred people had already arrived, carrying weapons. The two sides pushed and shoved each other as they walked toward the cafeteria. Ba Ge and his group did not resist at all. Now they were being kicked and slapped, and they had nowhere to complain.
Zhang Fengxia looked at Lu Feng with some doubt and said, "This isn't like you."
"We need to change our approach, otherwise we'll easily fall into traps. There's a lot going on here," Lu Feng said as he walked toward the cafeteria.
