Kevin smiled awkwardly upon hearing this. Some of the Forbes lists are just for reference and don't represent the quality of the world's richest people. Many families involved in finance, or even in the gray areas, don't want to show their faces in public.
Kevin didn't want to ask any more questions. Since he wanted to help Du Guoying, he just had to agree. It was a simple matter for him. As long as he agreed with Lu Feng, the rest would be up to Du Guoying's own fate.
He can be said to have done right by his conscience.
“Mr. Lu, I didn’t expect your company to grow so large. I really underestimated you.” Kevin said to Lu Feng, “If your company is willing, I can try to learn more about your company.”
"No problem, it would be our honor if you were willing to come." Lu Feng smiled and said, "You can go through the onboarding process first."
“No, no, no, what I mean is, let’s conduct a short-term evaluation of your company first before making a decision. However, I have a small request.” Kevin pondered for a moment, glanced at Du Guoying, and said, “Du Guoying is a very good young man. Joining Jiafeng Electronics would be a great help to your company.”
"This matter is no problem. As long as you can come, there will be absolutely no problem with him." Lu Feng glanced at the time and said, "It's almost noon. Let's talk again this afternoon. Let's have lunch first."
"Mr. Lu, you have something to attend to this afternoon," Zhu Lidong said from the side.

Kevin raised an eyebrow, suppressing a laugh. Lu Feng's act was so convincing that he couldn't help but chuckle. Little did he know that Lu Feng wasn't actually faking it.
On the way to the restaurant, Lu Feng, sitting in the back seat, instructed Zhu Lidong: "Go get a camera and put it on the shelf behind the reception room. Make sure it can capture Kevin's upper body."
"What are you doing?" Zhu Lidong asked, puzzled.
“Record his resignation letter.”

Inside the other car, Du Guoying kept thanking Kevin, who seemed quite pleased with himself, and said with a smile, "It's nothing. I've traveled all over the world and seen all kinds of people. I've got it all sorted out today."
"Really, it's been incredibly beneficial to spend a few days with someone as important as you. Your demeanor, confidence, and vision are all so impressive, like being several stories high," Du Guoying flattered.
Kevin felt incredibly relieved. He felt a beacon of compassion shining down on him, and with just a little effort, he had changed the fate of an ordinary person.
The sense of self-satisfaction he felt made him feel somewhat smug.
How to put it? It felt like the self-indulgent feeling after releasing fish into the river.
"This company is pretty good. Work hard and I hope you can achieve something and live up to my expectations." Kevin looked out the car window at the fireworks and firecrackers that had burned out everywhere on the road and sighed, "By the Spring Festival of some year, you will be like me now."
"Your wisdom is profound; I'm afraid I'll never be able to reach it in this lifetime," Du Guoying said with a hint of humility.
“I’ll give you a hand during lunch and try to get you into the company today. I have other things to do after the Lantern Festival. After you start working today, I’ll say I’m going back to process my resignation. As long as my resignation procedures aren’t finished, you can stay at the company for one more day.” Kevin thought for a moment and said, “This trick is called ‘shedding one’s skin,’ yes, ‘shedding one’s skin.’”
"Hahaha, amazing, absolutely amazing!" Du Guoying kept praising.
In Kevin's eyes, manipulating Lu Feng was a piece of cake, especially since Lu Feng needed his help and was ultimately being led by the nose.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, Lu Feng invited the two into a private room. Du Guoying looked at Lu Feng with some hesitation. He knew very well that if Lu Feng didn't want him, no amount of persuasion from Kevin would work. The other party had seen through his little scheme of switching sides.
"Boss Lu, I have something to tell you." Du Guoying whispered, pulled Lu Feng out of the private room, and told him everything. Considering their previous agreement, it seemed as if he had been cooperating with the whole thing.
"Don't worry, he can't get away." Lu Feng patted his shoulder and said, "You go in first, I'm going to the restroom."
As the food was served, the atmosphere at the table improved, and Kevin chatted and laughed like one of the family members, even discussing the future development of Jiafeng Electronics in overseas markets.
A dozen minutes later, Zhu Lidong pushed open the door and walked in, sitting down next to Lu Feng and giving him a look. Everything was arranged.
"Sorry, something came up, but it's all taken care of now." Zhu Lidong raised his glass and said, "I'll punish myself with a drink."
"Busy on the first day of the Lunar New Year? What's up?" Kevin said with a teasing look, "Going to scold Buffett?"
"No, it's just helping someone with their resignation." Zhu Lidong said, laughing.
"Mr. Lu, your company is firing people during the Chinese New Year?" Kevin said to Lu Feng. "Isn't this Brother Du here today and fired tomorrow?"
“No way, I have your connections.” Lu Feng looked at Du Guoying and said, “I’ve also found that you are indeed a rare talent, and I do have a position for you. Since Mr. Kevin has said so, I will definitely arrange everything properly.”
