"How dare you speak like that? Watch your mouth!" The middle-aged man glared at Lu Feng and shouted, looking particularly fierce.
Liang Longyan watched as Lu Feng stepped back, but the elevator was only so big, and Du Guoying was standing next to him.
“President Lu, you are a well-known figure, so you should be mindful of the impact of your words. Some things should be discussed within the academic sphere. Everyone has the right to speak. If you don’t agree with my theory, you are free not to read it!” Liang Longyan said to Lu Feng with a serious expression.
"Academic stuff? Who told you to publish that article? What are you trying to do? Who paid you? Completely opening up to foreign investment? Are you out of your mind?" Lu Feng yelled at Liang Longyan.
"Watch your mouth! I'm warning you, step back! You can't afford the consequences if anything happens to Professor Liang Longyan!" the middle-aged man said, his tone fierce but his words betraying his inner weakness.
The other people in the elevator crowded around the elevator, not wanting to get involved in this mess.
"Consequences? What consequences? Go to hell!" Lu Feng raised his hand and slammed it down on the middle-aged man's head.
"You want to fight? Go to hell!" The middle-aged man didn't back down and attacked Lu Feng.
"Get him!" Lu Feng shouted at Du Guoying and Kevin.
Without saying a word, Du Guoying raised her fist and smashed it into the middle-aged man's head. Kevin didn't want to fight; fighting in an elevator? He couldn't do such a thing.
The elevator was crowded and the space was limited, so the two sides couldn't move around much. They could only raise their fists and punch each other. Lu Feng was smart enough to know that if he kept punching the other side like this, he would definitely be at a disadvantage. So he grabbed the middle-aged man's hair, pressed him down, and then started punching him repeatedly!
Du Guoying grabbed the middle-aged man by the back of the neck, freeing Lu Feng's hand. Lu Feng then raised his hand and slapped Liang Longyan on the back of the head.
"Professor or expert? What kind of expert are you? You spout nonsense all day long, you don't even know where your ass is." Lu Feng slapped the back of the other person's head five or six times in a row, and Liang Longyan was angry but dared not say a word.
He did want to fight Lu Feng, but the problem was he couldn't win, and his reputation would be damaged if word got out. He'd rather take a beating and let Lu Feng have the bad reputation, so he could pretend to be a victim and cry about it.
The elevator doors opened, and everyone rushed out. Someone shouted to the security guards at the door, "There's a fight going on in the elevator!"
"Are you going to spout all that nonsense again? Bringing in all your foreign daddies, do you think you'll be well-fed? And you even talk about canceling tariffs? You piece of trash, I'll beat you up every time I see you!"
Security personnel rushed over, seven or eight of them shouting at Lu Feng, "What are you doing? Stop it, all of you! Get out! Get out of the elevator!"
Five people walked out of the elevator. The middle-aged man's face was covered in bruises and blood was streaming from his nose. Liang Longyan told the security guard what had happened. Vice Mayor Liu stepped into the meeting room, and Lu Feng followed him in. Liang Longyan saw that he seemed to be fine and greeted several familiar people as soon as he entered.
