Chapter 919 Looking for a scolding?

Sparse applause rang out. Lu Feng glanced at the area where the team was coming up and was surprised to find that Songpa, a rubber plantation owner, had also come to join in the fun.

Amid applause, the three went straight onto the stage, chattering away. Lu Feng hadn't brought a translator and didn't want to listen to their nonsense, so he simply sat down in the audience and closed his eyes to rest.

Zhatai stood on the stage and boasted about himself for a long time before getting to the point. After the three of them sat down on the stage, a translator came up to translate into English. Zhatai looked at Lu Feng and Thongpala below the stage and said, "A lot has indeed happened recently, especially in the electronics industry. I believe the general public is already aware of this."

"Today we also have Mr. Tumpala with us. He claims to have graduated from a well-known foreign university and worked as the chief engineer in a large foreign electronics company. He returned to China and founded Guangming Electronics. We've had quite a few verbal battles in the media. Today, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask Mr. Tumpala: I've checked the schools and companies you mentioned, but I haven't found anyone like you!"

Zhatai then changed the subject, saying, "It's not that I'm persecuting outstanding domestic talents; it's just that I really can't find any information about them."

Lu Feng had discussed these issues before. The camera was pointed at Thompala, and he took the microphone and said, "I dropped out of school. In my senior year, I was recommended for postgraduate studies, but I ended up taking the spot of a son from a powerful family. I was accused and expelled. As for the company, because I wanted to return to China to start a business, they sued me directly. The lawsuit has been going on for a year, and there is still no result. So I can't find any information about them."

"What a coincidence!" Vera couldn't help but say, "It's not easy for you to run into all of them."

"I'm telling the truth!" Tumpara said with a simple and honest face, looking helpless. He seemed harmless in front of the camera, as if what he said was true, but no one believed him.

"I'm just curious, do you know this friend next to you?" Zha Tai asked again.

Thompala glanced at Lu Feng and said, "I've seen him in the newspaper. He's the owner of Jiafeng Electronics."

"You've only met them once? Stop spouting nonsense. You two are practically family. You were a partner in Jiafeng Electronics' Thailand branch, in charge of sales channels. Don't you know them?" Vera scoffed, her expression full of disdain.

This didn't resemble a high-level forum; it was more like a question-and-answer session. Two men sat on the stage with their legs crossed, acting like thugs, relentlessly questioning and mocking the dark-skinned, honest-looking man in the audience.

On the live television broadcast, the two looked exactly like the kind of villains that make people grit their teeth, so hateful, which made Thompala's honesty stand out even more.

The two asked for a long time but couldn't get anything out of him. They turned their gaze to Lu Feng, who also stared at them. The three looked at each other, and a smile appeared on Lu Feng's lips.

"Mr. Lu, I'd like to know why you're still here even though your company has already been dissolved?" Zha Tai asked, staring at Lu Feng.

Lu Feng took the microphone and said in fluent English, "What's it to you?"

No one at the scene expected that President Lu would start swearing right away, even though he has some international recognition.

"I'm just curious about your relationship with him. This Bright Electronics company is your doing, isn't it?" Vera pressed.

"Why do I need to report to you? Who do you think you are? I'm already giving you a lot of face by even showing up today, and you still have to whine and question this and that. Are you a businessman or a detective? Can I question whether your mother had you while your father was away?" Lu Feng stood up and sneered at the two of them. "Forgot, you two aren't business owners either. At best, you're just gatekeepers. Keeping the gate to the Thai market in good condition is more important than anything else."

"Whoosh!"

The crowd erupted in astonishment; no one had ever imagined that attending a forum would be so exciting.

Inside the live broadcast dispatch vehicle, the station manager's voice rang out in the director's headset, excitedly saying, "The ratings have gone up! Have them film that young man... Thai translator, make sure to translate that arrogant and unruly tone of his!"
