Chapter 933 An Encounter on the Plane shuhaige.net

Seeing that he seemed somewhat distracted, Zhang Fengxia asked, "What's wrong?"

"Huh? It's nothing." Lu Feng came back to his senses and said, "I still think we shouldn't live together. I feel like your dad is about to beat you up."

"Let him smoke, I'll let him smoke!" Zhang Fengxia grabbed Lu Feng's hand and said, "Let's go back!"

Halfway there, Zhang Fengxia kept wondering about Jin Tingting. How could her neighbor be such a pretty young girl, and she seemed so kind?

"Who is that woman?" Zhang Fengxia asked.

Which one?

"Your neighbor? Which one could be so pretty, and doesn't look like an ordinary family, able to afford to live here?" Zhang Fengxia stared intently at Lu Feng and asked, "Was Xiaoyan already here when she lived here?"

"I bought both villas; I just gave her the other one to live in." Lu Feng could tell what she was thinking from her expression, and said, "She's not an ordinary person. Your grandfather used to be in charge, and her father is in charge right now, understand?"

"Such a high level?" Zhang Fengxia asked in surprise.

"And it's the department that oversees me, the Ministry of Commerce!" Lu Feng said in a deep voice.

“Then they don’t like you.” Zhang Fengxia nodded.

"What kind of nonsense are you spouting?" Lu Feng rolled his eyes at her.

The two entered the house hand in hand. Fengxia's parents, who were sitting on the sofa, looked quite unhappy, but Awei was very calm and said to Zhang Fengxia, "Fengxia is back?"

"We're very tired, we're going upstairs to rest," Zhang Fengxia said expressionlessly.

"Don't talk to me!!" Fengxia's father shouted coldly.

"Oh right, we need to book a plane ticket for him." Zhang Fengxia walked to the phone, called the airport ticketing agency, told them that a ticket had been booked using Lu Feng's ID number, hung up the phone, gave Awei a rather provocative look, and pulled Lu Feng upstairs.

The whole family looked at Awei with embarrassment, but Awei himself seemed indifferent.

Inside the room, there was only a single bed, about 1.5 meters wide. It was a hot day, and a summer blanket was placed on the bed. Lu Feng, sitting in a chair next to it, saw this and said, "Isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

Zhang Fengxia also felt that the situation was a bit awkward. It wouldn't be appropriate to not let Lu Feng sleep on the bed, but if they did, the bed was only 1.5 meters wide and the two of them would be too close together.

After hesitating for a while, Zhang Fengxia reluctantly gave in and said, "See if my parents are downstairs. You should go back to sleep. We're afraid we won't get a good night's rest if we stay like this."

“Okay!” Lu Feng stood up, pushed open the door and walked out. Before he could even go down the stairs, the door to the room diagonally opposite opened and his cousin came out.

Where are you going?

"Huh?" Lu Feng turned around and saw his cousin. His expression was quite smug, as if he had caught him red-handed.

"Kicked out?" My cousin leaned against the doorframe and sneered, "So you're only responsible for working until 10:30 at night because you're making money? You have to play your part completely!"

Zhang Fengxia heard the noise outside, opened the door and saw the situation. Her face darkened as she said, "Weren't you going out to buy cigarettes? Don't buy them, go back to your room and sleep."

Before Lu Feng could react, he was pulled back.

"My cousin is a real jerk. I've always thought he was a bad person, and my mom even likes him. Sometimes I really want to tear his mouth apart." Zhang Fengxia gritted her teeth in anger and looked at Lu Feng, saying, "Take off your clothes and go to sleep!"

"What are you doing?" Lu Feng clasped his hands in front of his chest and hurriedly said, "I'm not that kind of person!"

"Then just sleep like this. I'm not going to bother you anymore. Don't go out." Zhang Fengxia lay on the bed, covered herself with the summer quilt, and stopped talking.

Lu Feng sat in a chair, lighting a cigarette. It was late at night, and the whole world had quieted down. Although it was much cooler at midnight, it was still stuffy. There was no air conditioning in the room, and by 11 p.m., Lu Feng's shirt was already soaked with sweat.

"I'm about to leave!" Lu Feng said, standing up and pushing open the door.

I took a step out and saw my cousin and Awei chatting in the small living room on the second floor, so I went back inside.

"What's wrong?" Zhang Fengxia asked, looking up.

Lu Feng closed the door without saying a word. Since that's how it is, then don't blame him. He took off his shoes, sat on the bed, and lay down.

The bed was small to begin with, and the two of them were only about a fist's width apart. They could feel the heat emanating from each other, and a faint fragrance wafted into their nostrils, making them feel somewhat distracted.

After what seemed like an eternity, still unable to fall asleep, Zhang Fengxia, with her back to him, couldn't relax at all. She opened her eyes and whispered, "After your divorce, you must have had quite a few women, right? You and that Emil were making quite a scene back then."

“There are some things you can’t look at through the media. There’s nothing between me and her, just business dealings. We need to create some buzz,” Lu Feng replied.

"Nothing happened at all? Not to mention me, even Sister Xiaoyan doesn't believe it."

"Really, it's just some verbal sparring, nothing serious," Lu Feng explained.

“I’ve met a lot of bosses this year. They might not be considered rich in your eyes, but in the eyes of ordinary people, they are definitely tycoons. Their private lives are really disgusting. You’ve been divorced for so long, and you and Sister Xiaoyan see each other very little. I think that’s normal.” Zhang Fengxia said, resting her head on one arm. “I guess it’s like having someone in the same city to keep you company. No matter where you go on a business trip, you have someone with you.”

"What are you talking about? I'm not a singer, why would I make such a fuss?" Lu Feng denied.

"Then you just have to pay to find it."

"I can't play the piano either, so what's the point of looking for it? I'm so busy, I don't have time to think about such nonsense." Lu Feng felt really hot and sat up to take off his shirt.
