Hainan was one of the earliest real estate pilot zones in China and the birthplace of the first wave of real estate speculators. In the decades that followed, most of the real estate tycoons participated in this wave of speculation, making countless people rich overnight.
In 1992, the average price here was 8,500 yuan per square meter. It would take an ordinary person two years of saving every penny to afford one square meter. Until 1994, the bubble burst, leaving behind a bunch of unfinished buildings.

As evening approached, the cars were already parked in front of the villa. Two convertible sports cars were driven by Lu Feng, who sped along the coast.

“This is my friend!” Zhang Fengxia said with a smile; “I told you, I brought two friends with me.”
Erluju didn't know what to say, so he introduced to the person next to him: "This is Mr. Wang, the chairman of Tianyuan Real Estate. Last time, I met two beautiful ladies through my friend Changhai, and I was very happy. Now that we're in Sanya, I can't not do my best to be a good host. Please have a seat!"
Everyone took their seats. Lu Feng sat in the middle, with Jiang Xiaoyan on his left and Zhang Fengxia on his right. Duoduo sat next to Jiang Xiaoyan, ordered a lot of dishes, and also ordered two bottles of red wine. "You're starting a company? And it's in the daily chemical industry?" asked Mr. Wang, who was standing next to me.
"It's not about daily chemicals, it's about electronics. Have you heard of Jiafeng Electronics?" Lu Feng asked.
The two shook their heads, not knowing much about this industry. Erluju unbuttoned one button on his suit and said, "Opening a factory? It's really not going to work. "I'm not cut out for real estate. I'm only good at sitting here and chatting with these two bosses," Zhang Fengxia joked.
