In the evening, Feng Haidong and Lu Wanling took Lu Wanhong to a crayfish restaurant.
After Lu Yaobin arrived with Zhou Xiaoxiao, Lu Wanling carefully explained the reconciliation process to Lu Wanhong and Zhou Xiaoxiao.
Lu Wanhong and Zhou Xiaoxiao listened attentively as Lu Wanling explained the accounting details to them.
Actually, the accounts of a crayfish restaurant are not complicated, but because everything is sold at retail, there are many small details to consider when reconciling accounts.
For example, some drinks might only be ordered once tonight, but they still need to be recorded when reconciling the accounts.
With so many scattered items like these, the reconciliation process naturally becomes cumbersome.
After Lu Wanling checked the accounts with her sister and Zhou Xiaoxiao, she said to them seriously, "You see? There are a lot of these kinds of miscellaneous items every night, which is why you two need to check the accounts together."
Lu Wanhong was somewhat surprised: "Big sister, I didn't expect your little restaurant's accounts to be so complicated?"
Zhou Xiaoxiao said, "It's not complicated, but there are quite a lot of things."
Lu Wanling said, "There aren't many items. You can roughly divide them into several categories. This way, when reconciling accounts, you only need to look for them among these categories, which will make it much easier."
Feng Haidong said, "To put it simply, crayfish is one item, alcohol is another, beverages can be another, there are also various staple foods and some side dishes. Basically, that's all. If you categorize them, it shouldn't be too complicated to reconcile the accounts."
Zhou Xiaoxiao couldn't help but ask, "Big sister, did you do this every night before?"
Lu Wanling said, "Yes, every night your brother-in-law and I go over the accounts together."
Lu Wanhong said, "Wow, you and your husband must be working so hard."
Feng Haidong smiled and said, "How can you make money without hard work? Those odd jobs don't actually make much money. We mainly rely on crayfish, but we still need to keep track of the accounts so that it's easier to calculate the accounts at the end of the month."
Lu Wanling said, "From now on, Wanhong and Xiao Zhou will really have to work hard."
Lu Wanhong said, "What are you saying, sister? I'm definitely fine. Anyway, there's not much going on at work right now, so it's only right that I come here to help out."
Zhou Xiaoxiao said, "Big sister, you and your brother-in-law don't need to be so polite with us. I'm actually quite happy that I can help."
Feng Haidong then said to his brother-in-law, "Yaobin, you must be more careful in the future. Don't go to gatherings with your comrades as much as possible. Remember to come with Xiao Zhou every night. After you've settled the accounts, take Wan Hong home first, and then take Xiao Zhou home. Be sure to be careful."

Lu Yaobin immediately assured him, "Brother-in-law, don't worry, I will definitely take good care of them and ensure their safety."
Lu Wanling said, "You'd better remember that you're not allowed to drink alcohol at night anymore, or you'll make things worse."
Upon hearing his older sister's words, Lu Yaobin said helplessly, "Okay, okay, I promise I won't drink tonight."
Feng Haidong thought for a moment and said, "If your comrades really want to get together, then come to a crayfish restaurant. On this hot day, you can eat crayfish together and have a bottle or two of beer. That way, it won't interfere with the accounting work here."
Lu Wanling said, "Remember to pay upfront, don't keep me on the tab all the time."
Lu Yaobin said, "Sister, I'll definitely pay for my meal."
Feng Haidong said with a smile, "Don't always pay by yourself. When you comrades get together, you can't always pay by yourself, can you? Can't a few of you chip in and pay for it together?"
Lu Yaobin was immediately in a dilemma: "Brother-in-law, how can I ask everyone to chip in?"
Feng Haidong asked curiously, "What's there to be embarrassed about? You don't actually think you're a tycoon, do you?"
Upon hearing this, Zhou Xiaoxiao immediately said, "Brother-in-law, he just thinks he's a big shot. Every time his comrades get together, they call him 'General Manager Lu' and get him drunk after a few drinks."
Lu Wanhong, who was listening nearby, couldn't help but laugh: "Hahaha, Second Brother, that's not right."
Lu Yaobin was a little embarrassed by what was said.
"What are you laughing at? It's just comrades cheering each other on, joking around."
Lu Wanling said, "You know it's a joke, right? Since it's a joke, don't take it seriously. You're always treating people to meals. How much money does your company make now? Can you afford to treat so many people?"
Feng Haidong said with a serious face, "You must change this habit of yours, Lao San. You can't keep acting like you're a big shot all the time."
Lu Yaobin said, "Brother-in-law, you know they're all former comrades-in-arms. I can't very well ask them to chip in for a meal when we're having a meal together, can I?"
Feng Haidong said, "So this is where you need to change. You need to understand that doing business isn't about eating and drinking. Even if you're going to treat people, you should only do it for important occasions. You can't just treat everyone and spend money on everything."
Before his brother-in-law could speak, Feng Haidong said, "In this respect, Yaorong does a better job than you."
When Lu Yaobin heard his brother-in-law mention his older brother, he couldn't help but say, "Brother-in-law, why are you comparing me to my brother? My brother is really too stingy."
Lu Wanling said, "Although Yaorong is stingy, he can stick to his bottom line. He will never waste money that he shouldn't spend."
Lu Yaobin said dismissively, "That's why he doesn't make much money."
Feng Haidong said, "You're wrong about that. Yaorong really did make money from the stock market this time, but none of you heard Yaorong say it, right? That's what makes Yaorong so shrewd; he never reveals himself."
