Feng Haidong brought his niece back to the provincial capital. As soon as they arrived at his third cousin's house, his wife told him something.
“Brother Tang came by yesterday. He said that when they were renovating the shop, they encountered someone who specifically asked their construction team about renovation prices.”

Lu Wanling nodded and said, "Go ahead, my older sister and brother-in-law are over there too."
Feng Haidong nodded, then asked, "By the way, how's Xiao Wu doing while I was gone for two days? I forgot to ask my family how Gu Lin is doing when I got home this time."
Lu Wanling asked in surprise, "You didn't know?"
Feng Haidong looked surprised: "Know what?"
Lu Wanling said helplessly, "Gu Lin has come to the provincial capital to find Xiao Wu."
