Fang Yong and Wang Quan arrived at the night market and, without much effort, spotted Feng Haidong almost immediately.
Wang Quan greeted Feng Haidong, "Haidong."
Feng Haidong was still struggling with how to get his son away from Mei Yaqin's family, especially from Liu Ting's side.
Suddenly, he heard someone calling his name. He turned around and saw Fang Yong and Wang Quan.
He quickly went to greet the two people.
"Editor-in-Chief Fang, Wang Quan, you've arrived."
Seeing that there were already quite a few tables of customers in the night market, Fang Yong said to Feng Haidong, "Haidong, I'm so sorry, we're late."
Feng Haidong smiled and said, "It's alright, it's not late at all. This is a night market, after all. People are supposed to eat here at night. Editor-in-Chief Fang, you've arrived at just the right time."
Then Feng Haidong beckoned to his son and said, "Son, come here quickly."
Feng Qifan was actually feeling a bit annoyed because Liu Ting was ignoring him.
He didn't talk to Sister Liu Ting like this before; Sister Liu Ting used to be very good to him.
But Feng Qifan couldn't understand why Sister Liu Ting was ignoring him today. Moreover, she didn't eat any of the crayfish that his father had cooked for her.
Just as Feng Qifan was feeling frustrated, he suddenly heard his father calling him.
He looked up and saw his father and two uncles talking, and they were waving at him to come over.
Feng Qifan quickly stood up and ran to his father's side.
When Feng Haidong's son came over, he smiled and said to Fang Yong and Wang Quan, "Editor-in-Chief Fang, Wang Quan, this is my son, Feng Qifan."
Then Feng Haidong introduced his son: "Son, this is the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, you call him Uncle Fang. This is the editor I submit articles to, you call him Uncle Wang."
Upon hearing that it was the newspaper's editor-in-chief and the editor his father always submitted articles to, Feng Qifan quickly greeted them: "Hello, Uncle Fang, hello, Uncle Wang."
Fang Yong and Wang Quan also greeted Feng Qifan.
Hello, hello.
Fang Yong greeted Feng Qifan and asked, "Your father is a very good writer. Have you tried to learn from him?"
Upon hearing this, Feng Qifan first turned to look at his father.
When Feng Haidong saw his son looking at him, he laughed and said, "Just say what you want to say. Why are you looking at me like that?"
Feng Qifan then said, "I want to learn from my dad, but he hasn't taught me much before. However, before he submitted his manuscript last time, he read it to me and asked me to help him see if there was anything that needed to be changed."
After hearing this, Fang Yong and Wang Quan exchanged a glance, both finding it quite amusing.
Wang Quan said, "No wonder. The article your father submitted last time was so easy to understand. It turns out you were the editor who helped him check it out."
Fang Yong smiled and said, "Not bad. It seems you are a true son of a tiger father. You should learn more from your father in the future."
Feng Qifan nodded in agreement after hearing what Uncle Fang and Uncle Wang said: "Okay, I will definitely study hard with my dad."
Feng Haidong said, "You can't just learn from your dad. Your Uncle Fang and Uncle Wang are very capable. You should ask them for advice more often. Look how well your dad writes his articles and how well they get published in the newspaper. It's all thanks to the guidance of Uncle Fang and Uncle Wang."
Upon hearing Feng Haidong's words, Fang Yong and Wang Quan exchanged glances and couldn't help but laugh.
Fang Yong said, "Hai Dong, you're praising us too much. We can't accept that."
Wang Quan said, "I didn't realize Hai Dong, your compliments are so good now."
Then Wang Quan looked at Fang Yong and said, "Editor-in-Chief Fang, I almost believed what I heard."
Fang Yong chuckled and said, "That's right, I almost believed it too."
Feng Haidong said, "You have to take it seriously. It's true that the two of them gave me a lot of guidance and help, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get my article published in the newspaper."
Upon hearing this, Feng Qifan quickly said, "Uncle Fang, Uncle Wang, please teach me in the future too."
Upon hearing Feng Qifan's words, Fang Yong and Wang Quan exchanged a smile.
Then Wang Quan said, "You should learn from your father first. If you ever write an article and want to try submitting it, you can show it to me and your Uncle Fang."
Fang Yong also said, "Yes, you can show it to us."
Feng Qifan immediately asked, "Can my articles also be submitted to the newspaper?"
Fang Yong and Wang Quan looked at each other, and then Fang Yong said, "Of course you can, but you need to write it well enough. You need to ask your father for advice on this."
Feng Qifan nodded earnestly: "Okay, I will definitely ask Dad for advice more often."
Feng Haidong was very satisfied to see his son gradually regain his confidence with Fang Yong and Wang Quan.
Seeing that everyone had been chatting by the night market for a while, Feng Haidong called out, "Editor-in-Chief Fang, Wang Quanlai, come in and have a seat. Try my cooking."
Fang Yong smiled and said, "Actually, I ate before coming here."
Wang Quan said, "I've already eaten."
Feng Haidong said, "It's okay. After you finish eating, sit down and try my spicy crayfish. See how my cooking is and give me some feedback."
Feng Qifan immediately chimed in, "Uncle Fang, Uncle Wang, my dad's spicy crayfish is really delicious. Please sit down and try it."
Seeing how enthusiastic the father and son were, Fang Yong and Wang Quan stopped refusing.
As Feng Haidong led Fang Yong and Wang Quan into the night market, Liu Jianwu stood up to greet them.
"Editor-in-Chief Fang, hello! I didn't expect to see you here. You know Xiao Feng too?"
