Two days later, he received a call from an unknown number. The caller claimed to be Liu Yunlai's lawyer.
Wang Peng met him on the fourth floor of the Brothers Supermarket.
"Mr. Wang, let me introduce myself. My name is Zhang Xing, and I am Mr. Liu Yunlai's agent."
The man was around thirty-five years old, with a dignified appearance, and handed out his business card with both hands.
Wang Peng glanced at the business card. "Speak, what is it?"
Zhang Xing said, "Mr. Liu wants to sell the Brilliant flagship store for one million in one go."
Wang Peng shook his head, "I don't have that much money, and my glory isn't worth that much."
"No, you do!" Zhang Xing laughed. "Your insurance payout is coming soon."
Wang Peng was stunned, almost forgetting that the insurance company still owed him one million.
I bought insurance for Brother Supermarket, and then it burned down. The insurance payout was one million.
The arsonists have all been executed, but the compensation has not yet been paid; it remains under review.
Wang Peng asked, "Do you have inside information?"
Zhang Xing nodded hurriedly, "To be honest, my brother is the head of your insurance company."
“Oh,” Wang Peng nodded, “Glory isn’t worth a million. Show us your sincerity.”
Zhang Xing laughed and said, "Boss Wang, one million is really not much."
Wang Peng glanced at his watch. "Five hundred thousand, fixed price."
"Impossible." Zhang Xing hurriedly shook his head. "You can't even buy a property for 500,000."
Wang Peng stood up. "I'll add another 200,000. Go and report it."
