Wang Peng secured Du Lisan's approval, and the matter of jointly opening a branch store was left to the presidents of the two companies to handle the procedures.
He drove Li Mengjiao back to the Wenxin residential area and parked the car downstairs in front of his apartment building.
"You seem very nervous?" He looked at Li Mengjiao's tense little expression and couldn't help but smile slightly.
“I’m not nervous,” Li Mengjiao quickly added, “We’re best friends, what do I have to be nervous about?”
"Haha." Wang Peng gently placed his hand on her shoulder. "It's not shameful to admit you're nervous. Actually, I'm more nervous than you."
"I'm not nervous, I'm not nervous at all." Li Mengjiao said with a smug look, tilting her head and glancing at him sideways.
Wang Peng smiled slightly, opened the car door and asked her to get out. He heard someone calling his name from upstairs, and when he looked up, he saw Li Mingzhu.
"Wife," Wang Peng waved to her.
"Sister Mingzhu." Li Mengjiao waved hurriedly, her voice trembling.
"Come on up." Li Mingzhu waved to the people downstairs and disappeared past the window.
Wang Peng carried Li Mengjiao's suitcase and led her upstairs, where they found Li Mingzhu already waiting for them at home.
"Sister Mingzhu." Li Mengjiao hurriedly walked to her side, smiling as she took her hand. "Sister, when is the baby due?"
"The due date is in ten days, it'll be soon." Li Mingzhu smiled slightly and took her hand.
The two sisters walked into the bedroom chatting and laughing. Li Mingzhu turned around and said, "Honey, Mengjiao will sleep in the same room as me. You can sleep in the study."

Wang Peng went to the kitchen to cook and heard their laughter coming from the bedroom. He couldn't help but smile.

After dinner, the three of them sat on the sofa watching TV. Li Mingzhu was sleepy early and started yawning before eight o'clock.
Li Mengjiao quickly helped her to the bedroom to sleep, giving Wang Peng the feeling that she was a maid serving the young mistress.

Wang Peng was taken aback. "What emergency?"
"You're such a fool." Li Mengjiao chuckled and tapped his head. "The due date is ten days, but Mingzhu could give birth at any time."
"Oh." Wang Peng nodded hurriedly. "I understand. You should wash up and go to bed."
Soon, the sound of running water came from the bathroom. He lost interest in watching TV, turned it off, and went into his study.
He picked a magazine about pregnancy and baby care from the bookshelf, lay down in bed to read it, and before he knew it, he had fallen asleep.
Half an hour later, Li Mengjiao gently pushed open the door and shook her head.
She took the magazine away, covered Wang Peng with a blanket, turned off the study light, and tiptoed back to the master bedroom.

She is a light sleeper and has difficulty falling asleep in a new bed. She gently holds Li Mingzhu's hand and stares blankly at the moonlight outside the window.
