Chapter 5 Lucky Cat

The worst thing in business is not attracting customers. No matter what marketing methods you use, as long as you can attract customers, your business will likely improve.

Six watermelons weighed thirty pounds and two ounces. Wang Peng laughed and said, "Beautiful lady, since we're both cat lovers, I'll give you two ounces of watermelon. You give me nine yuan."

The woman was taken aback, then quickly took out her money to pay the bill.

Perhaps wanting to hear more beautiful women's voices, or perhaps wanting to cuddle the white cat more, she called out to the neighbor's yard, "Second Uncle, the watermelon seller is here, do you want some?"

"What kind of watermelon? Want some?" a deep voice rang out.

Then the courtyard gate opened, and a middle-aged man wearing shorts poked his head out.

"Young man, if there are any unripe melons, can I return them?" the middle-aged man asked.

"Money-back guarantee. I'm a man of my word in business," Wang Peng assured him.

"Okay, I'll go home and get the money." The middle-aged man turned and went home.

At this moment, several other households heard the commotion and opened their doors to see what was happening.

Many people have a herd mentality; seeing their neighbors rushing to buy watermelons, they feel they'd be missing out if they didn't.

More and more people gathered around, some even with children. The area in front of the melon cart was packed with people, and the children crowded around the cart to join in the fun.
