Chapter 3 Omen, going back?

Holding the jade pendant, Shen An Ning thought about making a purse to put it in and keep it well.

There was no TV in the study, so she found her sewing box, took out a piece of dark blue textured cloth from the cabinet, went back to the bedroom, raised the pillow, half-lying on the bed, and did it while watching TV.

Making a purse is not difficult, just cut it and sew the ends together. Shen Anning is no longer the little girl who didn't know what to do when her clothes were torn.

In recent years, her nephews and nieces have been very naughty. Every time they spend a summer vacation here, their clothes always get torn. For the sake of these little ones, she has learned several needlework techniques so that she can embroider small animals and flowers on the torn edges. They are very popular. Some of the little ones even tear their clothes specifically for this purpose, leaving her at a loss as to what to say.

Soon, a purse was made. She put the pendant in it and looked at the black rope on it. Shen An Ning thought about weaving a good one to string it together next time, and put the purse under her pillow.

At night, Shen Anning once again dreamed of 1971. She would never forget those days that still made her feel extremely painful when she thought about them. Her grandparents, parents, cousins and their wives were successively sent to different places. She and her twin brother and sister were first protected by her uncle, and then...

"ah!"

Turning on the bedside lamp and taking off the eye mask, her back was wet with cold sweat. Shen Anning's dream this time seemed real, and her family seemed to be standing in front of her, within reach.

I took out my cell phone. It was four in the morning, still early.

After changing into pajamas and lying on the bed, Shen An Ning was no longer sleepy. The past events played before her eyes like a movie.

Starting in 1970, Grandpa Shen was already semi-retired, and most family affairs were decided by my uncle and father. Because of my grandmother and mother's background, and because he was framed, although my grandfather had military merits, others were also wary of him.

But alcohol makes cowards bold, and profit makes villains greedy. In the end, they joined forces to bring down the Shen family.

At that time, Shen Anning and her younger brothers and sisters were first protected by her aunt and uncle. Later, she went to the northwest to work as an educated youth. During the five years, so many things happened. Her family members left her one after another. She couldn't bear the blow and lived in a daze all day long. She packaged herself like a hedgehog, with no friends and no social interaction.

So later she waited until after two rounds of college entrance examinations, when the educated youth began to return to the city in large numbers, before she left that hellhole.

The things that happened over the past thirty years came flooding back from the depths of his memory one by one. Shen Anning lay on the bed, trembling uncontrollably. When he came to his senses again, it was already half past six.

The sunlight outside shone through the glass window onto the rattan chair on the balcony. Shen Anning looked at its mottled shadow and sat up from the bed with her arms.

She put on her shoes, stood firmly, and was about to go wash up when she suddenly fell to the ground uncontrollably. She couldn't suppress the dizziness in her head and fell asleep uncontrollably.

Before she lost consciousness, Shen Anning thought that fortunately her clothes were still neatly dressed. If Sister Wang hadn't waited for her at eight o'clock, she would definitely come to her house to find her. They had made an appointment yesterday to go pick vegetable seedlings today.

It’s just a pity for my aunt and uncle, as they once again have to see their loved one die.

I don’t know if it’s the thoughts deep in my heart or too many memories, but Shen An Ning always feels that the voices coming to my ears are those of my parents, as well as my uncle and aunt. These voices are too real!

I opened my eyes wide, but I didn't see the hospital's distinctive white roof, nor did I see the glass chandelier that I had specially chosen when decorating the courtyard.

This white wall, Shen An Ning saw the military green shoulder bag hanging on the wall. How come it looked so much like the one that her grandmother made for her by dismantling her grandfather's old military uniform?

"Hiss, what's going on?"

She was covered with an old-fashioned cotton quilt, and the quilt cover was the uniform style used by the army. Shen Anning was stunned.

She stood up and looked around. This was the room where she lived in the tube-shaped building.

"Ningning, Mom, Dad and Uncle went out for something. We've warmed up breakfast for you. Remember to get up and eat. Your younger brothers and sisters are playing outside. If we don't come back at noon, remember to take them out for dinner. The money is in the drawer." Qin Shuni looked at her eldest daughter's closed door and said loudly while standing at the door.

"Oh, okay."

She habitually replied to Shen's mother's words, but Shen Anning was still a little confused. What was going on? Was she dreaming or was it reality?

"Hiss, it hurts." Looking at the blue flesh on her arm from pinching it too hard, Shen An Ning had a bold guess: was it because her obsession was too deep that the underworld would not accept her?

Or maybe some high official in the underworld took pity on her and sent her back to the past, back to the time when nothing had happened and she still had room to change.
