Chapter 2: Cash Finger

Later, his whole family was dragged out to the streets for criticism. Even those who had received favors from his grandfather held rotten vegetable leaves and shouted, "Down with the landlords!"

Of course, Lu Zhiye was not born at that time, and he heard all this from the old lady with bound feet.

At the worst times, we were even dragged onto the streets every day.

It was also thanks to my grandfather who spent most of his family wealth to support the troops during the War of Resistance Against Japan. Some people in the upper echelons remembered his kindness and took the risk to help out when his time was not so great.

Later, their big house was taken away, leaving only the house where the farmhand lived.

Later, grandma quietly told Lu Zhiye that she had secretly hidden some things in the woodshed to help him get married in the future.

Even when things were tough at home, grandma never thought of touching those things.

"Grandma, your grandson's legs are almost gone. I'll give him some first. I hope your spirit in heaven won't mind. I'll give him some more to your grandson's wife later."

Lu Zhiye kept muttering to himself as he took out everything from the top two layers.

He reached out again and prepared to take out the gold brick at the bottom.

However, he didn't expect that when he reached his hand to the bottom layer, the burrs on the wooden box scratched the back of his hand heavily.

The stinging pain made Lu Zhiye unable to help but withdraw his hand.

Drops of blood slid down the back of his hand. Lu Zhiye walked to the stove and grabbed a handful of wood ash and covered the back of his hand with it.

Then he picked up the imperial green bracelet with a painful look on his face.

He pulled off his tattered clothes and wiped the blood off the bracelet.

But as soon as his hand touched the blood on the bracelet, he felt a sense of weightlessness.

In a blink of an eye, he appeared in a small space.

After all, he had worked hard for so many years in his previous life, what kind of storms had he not seen?

After a brief panic, Lu Zhiye calmed down.

He looked around the area, where houses more modern than those from the 1990s stood.

There is a lot of open space outside the house and a spring.

Dark, thin and raggedly dressed, Lu Zhiye looked out of place in the villa in front of him.

He slowly walked towards the villa. He had seen the flush toilet, water heater, tiles and other things inside.

However, he had never seen a machine that could directly light a fire and cook, or a large refrigerator with four doors.

In Lu Zhiye's impression, a double-door refrigerator is already very high-end.

After carefully searching the entire space, Lu Zhiye finally figured it out with great effort.

Inside this space, including the villa area and the warehouse at the back, time is still.

The open space in front of the villa is a place where time flows.

Lu Zhiye tried to move a pepper seedling in the yard into the space.

It was discovered that the pepper seedlings, which were originally dying, seemed to be given a shot of chicken blood and were shaking themselves vigorously.

He had a plan in mind: it seems that this vacant land can be used in the future.

Lu Zhiye moved all the boxes left by his grandmother into the space.

Then he took a bath in the villa and put on his tattered clothes again.

Lu Zhiye, who was sixteen years old again, rubbed his chin and looked at himself in the mirror. He was dark and thin. One could only vaguely see that he was a big boy with delicate features and narrow, almond-shaped eyes that revealed a sharp and unruly look.

This was a very difficult time, and sometimes I feel physically and mentally exhausted just thinking about it.

But this is also an opportunity to take control of your destiny again.

Oh, and there are those two bastards who harmed him.

Whenever he thought of those two people, Lu Zhiye clenched his fists, wishing he could skin them alive and drink their blood.

After leaving the villa, Lu Zhiye looked at the open space where the spring water was flowing, and suddenly felt a little thirsty.

He stretched out his hand, scooped up a pool of clear spring water, drank two sips, and suddenly his eyes lit up.

This is a little sweeter than the spring water in the back mountain.

Lu Zhiye couldn't help but drink a few more sips.

I shook off the water on my hand and sprinkled some water drops on the pepper seedling. It grew at a speed visible to the naked eye. After a while, some small white flowers bloomed.

Lu Zhiye was horrified. Even though he had lived for more than 40 years in his previous life, he had never seen such a scene.

If we grow wheat and grain in it in the future, as long as we control the degree well, then we will have an endless supply of resources.

Lu Zhiye was overjoyed, thinking that maybe he had suffered too much in his previous life and God couldn't bear to see it and wanted to compensate him.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Lu Zhiye calmed himself down, tidied up the woodshed, and then walked towards the door.

At the door was the son of the captain of Dahe Village. He was the same age as Lu Zhiye and was knocking on the door impatiently.

Lu Zhiye didn't say anything, he just opened the door suddenly.

Lu Yong, who was leaning against the door, was caught off guard and lunged forward, almost falling to the ground.

Lu Zhiye stood aside and watched quietly, a gloomy look flashing across his dark and thin face.

As soon as Lu Yong steadied himself, he turned around and yelled at Lu Zhiye: "You bastard, do you want to die......"

His voice stopped abruptly, because Lu Yong saw Lu Zhiye, who was always silent, with his face hidden in the shadows, leaving only a pair of eyes looking at him like sharp blades.

That aura was even more frightening than the leaders he met when he followed his father to the county town for a meeting.

It actually made him speechless for a moment.

Lu Zhiye said in a low voice: "What's the matter?"

Lu Yong's face flushed red, and he felt that he had lost face. This kid who usually avoided him now made him feel a little scared!

He stiffened his neck and said loudly: "The captain asked me to see why you haven't come to work today?

If you don’t go to work, you won’t get any work points for the past few days.”
