Chapter 20: The Lame Chicken Wind

Once the number of animals on the mountain decreases drastically, they will lose their food supply for the winter and, in the freezing cold, they are likely to rush down the mountain and attack the village.

The first to be affected were the educated youth center closest to the back mountain and Lu Zhiye's home.

Lu Zhiye lay on the ground, calming his breathing.

A slight blush appeared on his handsome face.

What Mr. Lu plays with is excitement and heartbeat.

He thought to himself: In the past, we just killed roe deer, wild boars and rabbits and disposed of them. It seems that if we want to develop the black market meat in the long term, it will not last long if we only rely on these animals in the mountains behind.

You have to find a way to cultivate it yourself.

So Mr. Lu entered the space with a blank expression, and learned how to distinguish between boars and sows...

A large area was circled out from the space and divided into four circles (juan).

Each circle is around a fruit tree.

In this way, some wild fruits that are not harvested in time can fall down and serve as feed for them.

Lu Zhiye also cut down many dead trees in the deep mountains to separate the pigpen, roe deer pen, and wild rabbit pen.

A separate nest was dug for the lame pheasant. After this incident, Lu Zhiye discovered that the pheasant was agile and intelligent, so it was most appropriate to arrange for it to patrol these animals.

Lu Zhiye was glad that he had not had time to deal with the wild boars he had collected earlier.

He processed the meat that would be sent to the black market next time, and put the remaining wild boars into the pen.

When the wild boars first entered the space, they ran around in a panic. One big wild boar even hit a fruit tree hard, causing the unripe fruits on the tree to fall down.

Lu Zhiye was heartbroken.

Fortunately, everything in the space was under his control. With just a thought, he knocked down several wild boars that were running around, and they couldn't get up after struggling for several times.

After doing it many times, they became obedient.

There was no need to take care of the silly roe deer. They just stood there stupidly. Lu Zhiye threw some grass to them, and they ate happily. Even their ears trembled unconsciously.

Lu Zhiye threw all the weeds and wild fruits he had dug up into the circle.

He held up the pheasant and said to it, "Watch them carefully!"

The lame pheasant flapped its wings to show that it understood.

Only then did Lu Zhiye feel satisfied and prepared to leave the space.

Just as I walked to the pheasant nest, I found that the dozen pheasants I had brought in earlier had actually laid eggs...
