On the river bank of Xingnong Village.
Chang Sujun's whole body was hot, tears were flowing in her eyes, and her soft fingers were wrapped around the slender neck of the man in front of her.
She felt her mind was out of control and was attracted to him by the strong male hormones.
The man who held her in his arms had wet black hair that stuck to his forehead and cheeks. Beads of sweat and water vapor from the river flowed down his malt-colored skin and dripped from his chin.
"...your body...is so hot, give it to me..."
The man frowned, and water drops fell from his frown onto the water. His long, strong, bony palms pressed on her soft and warm shoulders, and with a little effort, they both immersed themselves in the icy cold river water.
Suddenly falling into the river, Chang Sujun was startled by the sudden change of temperature. Her mind regained clarity in an instant. In the water, she saw the man's face in front of her, hazy through a layer of mist. A ray of moonlight shone down on the water. He had clear outlines and deep features, and his eyes were like tunnels that sucked people in instantly.
Looks familiar...
The mysterious man pulled up the clothes that had slipped down her shoulders and did not take advantage of the situation where a man and a woman were alone.
At this moment, the memory of the previous few seconds emerged in her mind, and fragmented memories of her when she was eighteen and fifty-one filled her mind.
It was dark at night. Fifty-one-year-old Chang Sujun had prepared a sumptuous dinner. His son called and said impatiently, "I've already invited Dad to a restaurant for a big meal. What's good about the same dishes you make every day? They're too disgusting. Just keep them for yourself and don't let us suffer with you."
The three-year-old granddaughter grabbed the phone and said in a childish voice, "Grandma, please eat that disgusting meal! It's not Dad who is treating us, it's Grandma Wu who is treating us to a high-end place to eat. There are many seafoods here that I have never seen before."
"Besides cooking, what else can you do? Grandma Wu is my real grandma, but you don't know that she and Grandpa have obtained a marriage certificate. You are just my family's free babysitter."
Chang Sujun felt cold all over, dropped his phone and collapsed on the floor, watching the sky outside the window gradually turn from dark to bright.
At daybreak, she immediately went to the Civil Affairs Bureau to check who her husband's legal wife was, and Wu Cuicui's name appeared on the computer. Wu Cuicui was Wei Yaonan's elderly best friend!
Chang Sujun was so angry that he was shaking: "I swear, I will never let you go! If God gives me another chance to restart my life, I will definitely choose to dominate my own life! Live the life I want!"
Then her head started spinning and she passed out.
The memory of her eighteen years old came back to her mind. Ten minutes ago, the nineteen-year-old educated youth Wei Yaonan handed her a glass of water and said arrogantly: "With your weak arms and legs, how can you resist me? Drink it obediently, and you will suffer less pain."
Her chin was pinched and she was forced to drink it with her head tilted back.
The two memories intertwined together. Wei Yaonan was in so much pain from the psychological trauma that she couldn't make a sound. She could only pinch the muscular waist of the man in front of her with a familiar face.
Chang Sujun raised his head and stared straight at the dark sky, anger burning from his chest to his eyes, and roared: "How much have I paid for you!!! You said that a successful man has a virtuous woman behind him, so I will be your backer; you said that holding a wedding is not important, what is important is that the two of you support each other, and I believed it; and my son has also been trained to be an excellent doctor."
"In the end, I wasted 33 years of my life for love. I even gave up my career as a teacher for you. The son I raised with so much effort didn't respect me and became another woman's son."
"I have nothing left!!! If I could choose again, I would never marry you!"
The man in the water groaned in pain, pulled her out of the river, tore off his hand that was pinching him, and said in a hoarse voice, "You are talking nonsense, wake up!"
Today he was picking pig grass and helping people transport goods back and forth. Only after eating the big pot meal in the evening did he have this quiet private space to enjoy the breeze by the river.
He met Chang Zhiqing, who ran into his arms with a flushed face. She was hot all over and didn't say anything when asked. He knew something was wrong, so he pulled her into the shallow water of the river to help her regain her sanity.
Chang Sujun didn't listen to what he said at all. She lowered her head and bit his slender, white neck hard.
Liang Jiaming hissed in pain and tried to push her away with his hand, but when he saw that she was feeling aggrieved, he reluctantly withdrew his hand.
He remembered that two weeks ago when he was cutting grass for pigs, Chang Zhiqing was standing next to him and playing with the sickle he had just received. He accidentally swung the sharp blade and cut his arm.
She helped him bandage the wound, and was seen by her boyfriend Wei Zhiqing while she was at work. He called his brothers to surround her in the field and beat her up.
She was so scared that her face turned pale and she didn't explain. Now he tried to save her with good intentions but she bit him instead.
What an ungrateful person.
Chang Sujun felt that the person she was biting did not push her away. Instead, he gently held her in his arms. Her arms were warm and smelled of the soapy scent of clothes.
He patted her back slowly, again and again.
She felt strangely calm inside.
Under the moonlight, the wind blew the trees. She opened her mouth and looked at him. His white coat was tightly attached to his skin. His malt-colored skin was strong. The water drops on his throat slid into his collar and disappeared while he was talking. His eyes were particularly gentle under the moonlight, and the words he said gently swayed into her heart:
"I understand you. It's not your fault. You are good. You were let down by someone who didn't deserve you."
Chang Sujun's emotions were inexplicably calmed down, and a sentence she had heard in her previous life flashed through her mind: If you are going to get married, marry someone who is good in themselves.
