Chapter 314 The Spell Has Been Removed (1/2)

Zhou Dongcheng knew he had been caught off guard and had capsized because he suddenly couldn't move.

"Let me go, you little bastard!"

The boy sneered, ignored him, and shouted to the police outside, "Now everyone can take action!"

All the police officers rushed into the detention room and easily apprehended Zhou Dongcheng, taking him to the interrogation room.

The boy glanced at Gao Jianping, who was pale but still relatively calm, to make sure that his luck hadn't been stolen, before checking on the two unconscious policemen.

The boy pressed several acupoints on the two policemen, and they woke up.

Gao Jianping looked at the unfamiliar boy and said, "Little classmate, thank you, who are you?"

The boy blinked. "Uncle Gao, let's talk in private."

Gao Jianping was puzzled and took the boy to his office.

"Uncle Gao, I'm Xiaoxi!" The boy smiled and took off his mask.

Gao Jianping looked on in surprise: Huh? What's going on now?

He immediately realized that Wan Jiang's accomplices must be too cunning, and Xiao Xi was pretending not to want him to know.

"Xiaoxi, I didn't expect you to have such skills. Thank you again. Now I believe what you said."

Xiaoxi understood; she knew it would be like this.

"Wanjiang's accomplice, is that the person you just mentioned who stole your brother's luck?"

"Yes, it's him. Let's hurry to the interrogation room and see. Uncle Gao will know more about it then."

But in those ten minutes, something unexpected happened in the interrogation room.

Deputy Captain Wu of the Criminal Investigation Team had just returned from a mission when he saw his team members arrest a fat man with talismans stuck to his head.

"Nonsense! This is a police station, what kind of weird stuff is this?"

Without even asking why the talisman was pasted, Deputy Captain Wu ripped it off and threw it on the ground.

Amidst the gasps of the crowd, the middle-aged man they had finally managed to catch suddenly became energetic and, right under their noses, fled in a blur.

Xiaoxi and Gao Jianping arrived at the interrogation room and saw everyone looking at each other in bewilderment.

"Where is he?" Gao Jianping asked loudly.

Everyone looked embarrassed and turned to look at Deputy Captain Wu.

Xiaoxi questioned, "This is absolutely stupid! You let him go? How could you just let someone go after everyone worked so hard to catch him?"

Vice Captain Wu has a fiery temper and is good at playing straightforward offense.

"Who are you? Are you trying to teach me how to do things?"

Xiaoxi was also furious. "Do you know what the consequences of today's actions will be? How many people will be in danger?"

Gao Jianping also stood up and said sternly.

"Old Wu, you were really too impulsive. The situation our comrades just encountered was so dangerous, and you didn't even ask them anything."

"A higher rank can crush you." Deputy Captain Wu was criticized by Gao Jianping in front of so many people, and he felt both angry and wronged.

He glared at Xiaoxi, his face full of resentment.

"What are you glaring at me for? A grown man like you shouldn't take responsibility for your mistakes?"

To resolve this once and for all, Xiaoxi will need the help of these police officers in Beijing, so it's time to reveal her identity.

Xiaoxi threw out a series of documents.

"You ask who I am? I am the minister of a secret government department, and I am also a senior specialist in the military region's metaphysics department, Major General Ye Xiaoxi!"
