Chapter 326 Yam and Venison Soup (2/2)

They were completely absorbed in their enjoyment when suddenly another scream rang out from nearby.

It turned out that the old medicine master was directing the apprentice medicine boy to start working again.

The young apprentices used long silver needles to pierce Wu Zhengsong's legs one by one. The sight of the gleaming silver needles made Old Master Ding and the others' teeth ache.

It's hard to comment, really hard to comment.

They could only watch silently, or pretend they didn't know and turn back to continue drinking tea and eating fruit.

Then Wu Zhengsong let out an even sharper howl.

Grandpa Ding and the others had to turn around to see that the stone bed was adjustable in length.

Two young apprentices shook the handles on the side of the stone bed, and the stone bed extended to both sides.

Everyone watched helplessly as Wu Zhengsong, who was short and stocky, was gradually stretched out like a noodle.

Grandpa Feng Yuding's eyes widened like saucers; it was unbelievable, utterly unbelievable.

Suddenly they heard a melodious bell ringing, and saw the young apprentice pick up a jade tablet from the workbench beside him.

"Master, please answer the telepathic message."

Everyone thought: Wow, isn't this just like a telephone?

The old doctor answered the telepathic message and said he had to leave, leaving the follow-up work to Xiaoxi.

Xiao Xi smiled and nodded respectfully as she saw off the old doctor. The old doctor and several apprentices boarded an enlarged gourd and flew into the distant sky.

As soon as the old doctor left, Grandpa Ding and the others relaxed immediately and rushed to the stone bed, worried that the man had been tortured to death.

Wu Zhengsong was in so much pain that tears and snot covered his face, but seeing Xiaoxi and the others was like seeing family.

Xiao Xi asked with a smile, "Mr. Wu, how are you feeling? Are you suffering terribly, as if you're in unbearable pain?"

Wu Zhengsong felt shattered, his whole body shattered, and he had no strength left to answer Xiaoxi's question.

Ye Zhongnan was kind-hearted, after all, Wu Zhengsong suffered this torture because of him.

"Xiaoxi, Mr. Wu isn't doing well. Why don't we help him?"

"I knew my second brother was the kindest person in the world. Why don't you make him some meat soup?"

Xiao Xi threw out the iron pot that Ye Zhongnan hadn't seen in a long time.

There happened to be an earthen stove in the thatched shed, so Ye Zhongnan placed the pot on the stove.

Xiaoxi went into the thatched hut next to the thatched shed and found the seasonings. She was also surprised to find yams and venison, and took them all out at once.

There was a clear spring next to the thatched cottage. Ye Zhongnan washed the ingredients and filled the pot with water.

There happened to be firewood in the thatched shed, and Ye Zhongnan then realized that he didn't know how to start a fire. Fortunately, Grandpa Ding had been cooking for the whole family since he was a child, so he was very skilled at starting a fire.

In no time, a large pot of yam and venison soup was ready.

"It smells so good!" Feng Yu sniffed, his mouth watering. Even though it was soup made for Wu Zhengsong, he really wanted to drink it too. What should he do?

Xiaoxi then brought out several more earthen bowls from the thatched hut.

Ye Zhongnan quickly scooped up a bowl of yam and meat soup. Old Master Ding, feeling sorry for Wu Zhengsong, stepped forward to help him up.

Wu Zhengsong smelled the aroma of the broth and suddenly felt energized, blowing on the broth with all his might.

He was a master chef, but he had never tasted such delicious meat soup.

Since Ye Zhongnan didn't give him chopsticks, he ended up using his hands to scoop the venison and yam into his mouth.

"It's so delicious! This venison isn't dry at all; it melts in your mouth. Mr. Ding, you should try some!"

"Ah, Mr. Wu, you actually know me." Old Master Ding was very surprised.

fart

"Of course I know you. You are the highly respected Master Ding."

"No, no, this is my little apprentice Ye Zhongnan. Isn't he good at making soup?"
