Chapter 55 Castles in the Air (2/2)

Two stray dogs immediately wagged their tails and came over.

"My name is Xiaoxi, what are your names?" Her smile was genuine, showing no disdain for stray dogs.

Huh? The adults were asking their names, and they even mentioned her own name.

The two stray dogs' eyes welled up with tears; no one had ever shown them such respect before.

"Sir, my name is La Hua, and its name is Shi Chui."

Xiaoxi laughed out loud, thinking they would be named Ah Huang or Wangcai or something like that.

Xiaoxi took out the meat and offered it to Lahua and Shichui.

Er Gou is very savvy.

Shi Chui asked, "Lady Xiao Xi, what do you need us to do? We would be happy to serve you."

"Alright, Shi Chui, you guys know someone's staying in the village committee's tile-roofed house today, right? Find a way to teach them a lesson."

Xiaoxi was worried that Er Gou wasn't smart enough, so she took out two low-grade pills and fed them to them.

"After you finish the first task, find some of your friends in the mountains and ask them to help me plow the land. They'll reward you."

Er Gou naturally agreed, and they flew off wearing the small cameras Xiao Xi had installed on their heads.

Lahua and Shichui gained sentience after taking the pills Xiaoxi gave them; it was truly remarkable.

They first went to the village committee's farm tool warehouse, crawled through the dog hole, and stole the chisels and hemp rope.

Then they quietly went to the outside of Song Yi's brick house.

Song Yi was exhausted after a long day and went to bed early.

Although it was a brick and tile house, the door had long been eaten by insects.

The stone hammer picked up the chisel with its forepaw and inserted it inside, creating a hole in the door.

Upon hearing the noise, Song Yi sat up abruptly. The surroundings were so quiet that only the croaking of frogs in the fields could be heard.

He lay down and fell asleep again.

After waiting a while, La Hua tied the hemp rope to the chisel, and Shi Chui carefully put the chisel into the doorway.

Then Er Gou grabbed the rope and started running as fast as he could.

When the rope was straightened, a tremendous force caused "crack!" The immortal door disintegrated.

The two dogs immediately fled.

Xiaoxi returned to the ivory tower and sent the information from the camera directly to the TV, laughing uncontrollably.

Ye Yanche, who was playing games in his bedroom, suddenly lost interest in the game.

The two siblings burst into laughter.

Song Yi was fast asleep when a loud bang, and the door was gone.

When they came out, they saw chisels and hemp ropes, which were all farm tools.

His first thought was that it was done by the villagers.

The cold looks those people gave him today must be from jealousy of his height, good looks, and wealth.

We are all human, so why are some people able to receive a superior education and live a life of luxury, while others are born into poverty?

But what good could Song Yi's suspicions do? The door was gone.

Swarms of mosquitoes poured in, making Song suffer terribly.

His blood type is O, and his sister Song Bao'er is not his biological sister. Even though Song Bao'er slept on a bench in the corner without being covered, she didn't suffer as badly as him.

No way. In the cold, dewy nights of May in the north, Song Yi was shivering.

Er Gou was extremely efficient. They found wild boars and monkeys in the nearby mountains. Although they weren't very familiar with them, the wild boars and monkeys were persuaded by the lure of profit.

They arrived at the dilapidated temple silently and in great procession.

Xiaoxi saw it clearly on TV.

"Brother, look, the wild boars that always appear in historical novels are here. I'm going down to teach them how to plow the land."

Ye Yanche was overjoyed; it was wonderful that he didn't have to clear land and farm the land himself.

"Xiaoxi, tell them not to finish it all in one night, otherwise it will look too fake. Tell them to do it over three nights."

"Haha, okay! Just watch it on TV, bro."
