The next morning, the production team was really bored out of their minds.
I went to film Song Yi and Shen Le farming, but it was pretty boring. Their live stream was almost empty.
Most of them were camping out in the main live stream room.
The director and the assistant director suddenly had a whim and each set up a camera to film all over the empty village.
The weather was particularly nice when I woke up this morning; the sun was shining brightly throughout the morning.
The executive director delivered a one-man speech.
"Family members, who understands? This quiet little mountain village is bathed in sunshine and has fresh air. Let's go and enjoy the taste of nature."
Both directors went to the fields.
They didn't notice that the surroundings were particularly quiet, with only the fragrance of flowers and no birdsong.
The director continued with a smile, "Those guests who got too caught up in their roles and incited the crowd to evacuate on a large scale will be severely punished. However, I hereby declare that this has nothing to do with our variety show team..."
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew, and then the wind grew stronger, carrying dry grass and stones that rolled in continuously.
The sky suddenly darkened.
"Something's not right!" the director panicked.
The executive director was just talking eloquently, but suddenly he couldn't make a sound; he was frightened.
As soon as there was a slight disturbance, he wanted to turn back, but his feet seemed to be rooted to the ground.
The director also wanted to run, but he too was held back by the earth.
Their hands unconsciously raised the camera, aiming at the rapidly moving leaden clouds.
The viewers in the live stream were chatting and eating sunflower seeds.
[Holy crap! They're here! Directors, run for your lives!]
Wow, that's spectacular! So exciting!
Directors! You guys are so dedicated! Are you willing to risk your lives for viewership ratings? I have the utmost respect for you!
The two directors had already sensed the approach of death.
It was completely dark when the ice started falling.
At first, they were only the size of peas, then the size of potatoes, and then hailstones the size of bowls fell from the sky.
The two directors were hit on the head several times, and then their noses started bleeding.
Then I heard a series of "bang" sounds all around me, some as big as bowls, some as big as basketballs, and some even as big as washbasins.
It was terrifying; everyone in the live stream was gripping their toes tightly, but no matter how big the hailstones were, the live stream kept going.
Only then did the director realize his mistake.
They said there was a hailstorm, and it turned out to be true. Why couldn't I believe that little girl?
He cried in despair.
It turns out that so many people who believed the little girl saw things more clearly than him; he was the most foolish one.
He watched helplessly as his longtime partner, the executive director, was struck by hail, his head bleeding profusely, yet he remained standing, showing no signs of life.
Then, a sharp pain shot through his head, and he knew that this was the end of his foolish life...
The remaining guests are the Song siblings.
After the production crew finished filming them farming, the brother and sister went back home.
Just as they were about to return to their large brick house, the weather changed.
Song Yi ran back desperately by himself, completely forgetting about Song Bao'er, but just as he reached the house, it collapsed under the weight of the debris.
Two walls leaning against each other have a support and a gap in the middle.
Song Yi squeezed in with a quick movement.
"Brother! Brother! Save me!"
Song Bao'er slipped and fell to the ground, only three or four meters away from Song Yi. She reached out her hand and looked at Song Yi pleadingly.
"Don't shout! I'm not your brother! What happened to the good luck? You only bring me endless misfortune!" Song Yi roared madly.
"Brother, that's not how it is. I did try my best. Didn't you start to gain momentum that year? And how did you become a movie star? Have you forgotten?"
Brother, please don't abandon me..."
Song Yi looked at Song Bao'er coldly, showing no intention of helping or saving her.
In despair, Song Bao'er suddenly remembered Xiao Xi's words: her fate was in her own hands.
She picked up a broken door panel from beside her, resolutely got up, and, bracing herself against the panel, ran towards the nearest house that hadn't collapsed.
