Chapter 71 Sending out the third book (2/2)

Xiaoxi briefly recounted what happened, pointing to the cart inside the porcelain vase in the photo.

Cheng Sheng was so shocked that his mouth could fit an egg. This porcelain bottle was a birthday gift he had given to the old Chinese medicine doctor many years ago.

The problem is that there really is an extra cart on it, drawn using the ancient line drawing technique, and it's quite old; it wasn't added recently.

He had kept this bottle for many years; surely he knew what kind of bottle it was?

"Alright, Grandpa Cheng, we're short on time, so let's not get sidetracked."

Since we're old friends, I'll give you this book!

Xiaoxi threw out the book "The Art of Gold Dividing" with a "smack".

As expected, Cheng Sheng once again descended into madness.

The ancestral master's "Gold Dividing Technique"! Isn't this what he's been dreaming of day and night?

This little guy carries it around with him all the time? He just takes it out like it's nothing?

Cheng Sheng cried so hard that he cried tears and snot, he was in agony and could not describe it.

Xiao Xi let him do as he pleased, while she and Lin Yang drank tea together.

Lin Yang was completely unaware of Xiao Xi's encounter with Cheng Sheng on the street, from their tea conversation to their subsequent misunderstanding. He had a general idea that Xiao Xi possessed other abilities, but it wasn't immediately obvious to him.

Xiaoxi explained everything clearly to Lin Yang in one go.

On Cheng Sheng's side, Xiao Xi cried and lamented for another ten minutes before waking him up and telling him the reason she came to Nan Province.

"Xiaoxi's filial piety has moved heaven and earth. If you don't mind that your Grandpa Cheng is an old man, why don't you take him along on this mission? I happen to have an exit permit."

"good!"

Xiaoxi had been waiting for these words.

That settled the matter.

Cheng Sheng lost interest in shopping online. He checked out of the hotel, and the three of them went to the old street to buy some things.

It was almost time to meet up with the rescue team.

Xiaoxi turned on the location navigation, and the three of them arrived at a small building in a secluded corner.

The building was dilapidated, suggesting that the operation was conducted in a highly secretive manner.

Xiao Xi knocked on the door, and a person with a broken southern accent asked sharply, "Who is it?"

Xiaoxi immediately replied in the other person's broken southern accent.

"Yangtze River, Yangtze River, I am the Yellow River!"

Sweet potato, sweet potato, I am a potato!

"Heavenly King covers the Earth, Pagoda suppresses the River Demon!"

Suddenly, there was silence inside. After a while, another voice, unable to bear it any longer, shouted, "Let them in!"

Xiaoxi and the other two went straight into the living room on the ground floor.

Luo Feng, the special forces captain and leader of the task force for this operation, was furious.

If it weren't for the fact that it was a little girl's voice outside the door, these people would probably be cold corpses by now.

Xiaoxi saw five men in the room, all straight men with buzz cuts, tall and imposing, staring at them menacingly.

One of the men had a heroic air about him, with two sword-like eyebrows raised and a pair of starry eyes that gleamed with a dark light, as if they could see right through Xiaoxi and the others.

"Don't you know the password to get in?" he asked coldly.

"I don't know, nobody told me!" Xiaoxi answered readily.

"Jiang Tao, tell her!"

"Our password for entering is: 'Hey buddy, need to collect swill? Even if it's overnight, it's two cents a pound.'"

"This?" Xiaoxi frowned.

"Big brother, the code seems a bit inappropriate. I'm a little girl, here to collect swill?"

"Don't call me big brother!"

"Oh, uncle!"

What uncle? He's only twenty-five.

Luo Feng was even angrier. He had only received the news two hours earlier that a little girl was participating in this operation, which was truly outrageous.

Yesterday, all he knew was that the organization had arranged for someone to act with their group.

So the code word wasn't changed. Unexpectedly, the other party didn't even know that a code word was required to enter.

Luo Feng gritted his teeth and said, "Call me Captain! I am the captain of this operation team, Luo Feng."

Xiaoxi thought to herself, "It seems the other party isn't very friendly."
