Everyone gasped: Really?
"Everything requires evidence, but where is the evidence?"
The female shop assistant voiced everyone's sentiments.
Xiaoxi didn't want to deal with those two trashy people anymore.
A smile suddenly appeared on her face as she reached out to pull the dazed Du Xin.
"Brother Du, Xiaoxi is hungry, let's go get something to eat."
Everyone was taken aback: as expected, he was just a kid, making things up on the spot, doing whatever came to mind.
The store manager and the female employee visibly breathed a sigh of relief. They looked around and, seeing that the onlookers were all angry, they changed their tune.
"Does being rich mean you can bully ordinary people like us?"
Xiao Xi pulled Du Xin to the store entrance, turned around with a half-smile, glanced at the store manager and his employees, then pulled a righteous-looking uncle next to her and whispered something.
"Uncle, the evidence is under the money tree on the left side when you enter."
After saying that, Xiaoxi pulled Du Xin along and stepped out of the store.
Everyone assumed that the naughty child would run away after causing trouble, and they were very dissatisfied and were about to disperse.
"Wait, everyone, look!"
The righteous-looking man had already moved the money tree, and sure enough, there was a plastic bag in the base of the flowerpot. When he opened it, it was full of receipts and stubs.
He started recording the whole thing on his phone from the moment he started moving the flowerpots.
The store manager and the female employee were blocked by the crowd and didn't notice the money tree. By the time the evidence was suddenly revealed, it was too late.
They were utterly defeated, collapsing to the side. What awaited them was losing their jobs and ending up in the police station.
Xiao Xi left without taking any credit or fame with her.
Next, Du Xin took Xiao Xi to the telecommunications company store to get a phone card, and then drove directly to lunch, at a place that Ye Yichen had called him to reserve that morning.
In a traditional Chinese private restaurant.
Xiaoxi was very hungry and eagerly awaited the arrival of the food.
Du Xin finally got his chance.
"Xiaoxi, how did you know that those two people at the phone store were ripping off customers? And where did you find their evidence?"
"Those two went too far, talking about our Xiaoxi like that. Why don't you point them out yourself and slap them in the face?"
The pre-dinner dessert arrived, and Xiaoxi began to eat seriously, giving Du Xin a vague answer.
"I figured it out using a little turtle."
"Since they're all going to suffer in the end anyway, why should Xiaoxi just wait there and see how it goes?"
She scooped up a spoonful of dessert and squinted her eyes happily: "My brother understands me best. This is exactly the flavor I like."
Seeing that Du Xin still didn't understand, she sighed.
"Brother Du, if we stay in the phone shop and don't leave, will we be able to get such delicious desserts at this hour?"
"She'd definitely be pulled aside by the police to give a statement or something, and by then, Xiaoxi would be starving." Actually, she was just afraid of the trouble.
Du Xin suddenly understood, and his face darkened: How did I suddenly become so stupid?
If Boss Ye knew that he brought two people shopping and ended up in the police station, and that his precious little sister even went hungry, he would skin him alive.
He had forgotten what Xiaoxi had said earlier about calculating it using a tortoise shell.
Soon, the main courses were served.
Xiaoxi had used up a lot of spiritual energy at the mobile phone store, and now she needed to make up for the loss, so she ate voraciously until her little belly was bulging before she was satisfied.
This private restaurant is beautifully designed, with a layout resembling a small courtyard house. A koi pond in the center of the courtyard caught Xiaoxi's attention.
Xiaoxi walked over and leaned over the edge of the pond to watch the koi.
Just then, a little boy came around from behind the artificial hill and saw Xiaoxi by the pond, and he became unhappy.
"You're not allowed to look! Get away!"
Xiaoxi noticed that the little boy wasn't much younger than her, so why was he so domineering? She felt a little unhappy.
"The pond was built for everyone to see, so why can't I see it?"
The little boy disliked Xiaoxi even more, so he reached into the pond, scooped up some mud, and threw it onto Xiaoxi's skirt.
"I won't let you see it!"
Xiaoxi suddenly became famous and strode over.
