Seeing the scene before him, Xu Kun was instantly enraged.
He clenched his fists, grabbed the fat man's clothes, and prepared to punch him in the face.
"You scoundrel, how dare you harass a respectable woman!"
The moment his fist was raised, the groom kicked him away.
Liu Yue and Xu Kun were kicked away, and Liu Yue's face turned pale instantly. She looked at the fat man whose clothes were torn and shouted.
"Oh dear, my good brother, how are you?"
Without hesitation, she nestled into the fat man's arms, her eyes brimming with tears, looking heartbroken.
Xu Kun lay on the ground, watching Liu Yue nestled in the fat man's arms, feeling as if he had been struck by lightning.
The whole world seemed unreal to him.
For a moment, he felt like he was dreaming, but the pain in his body told him it was real.
Then he felt as if his heart had suddenly sunk to the bottom of a cliff, and someone was constantly stabbing it with knives.
A heart keeps sinking downwards, and a knife keeps stabbing it back and forth.
At that moment, he didn't know whether the pain was more physical or emotional.
The fat man was startled by Xu Kun. After he came to his senses, he was filled with anger and spoke to the servant beside him.
"Men, beat him! Beat this bastard badly!"
A group of servants rushed forward and began punching and kicking Xu Kun.
Liu Yue didn't even glance at him, and kept helping the fat man tidy up his messy clothes.
"Good brother, are you alright?"

The fat man looked at Liu Yue in his arms and slapped her across the face. The sound of the slap made her dizzy.
"You shameless slut, how dare you cheat on me with another man!"
"I didn't, I didn't!"
"I have nothing to do with him, I really have nothing to do with him!"
Liu Yue covered her swollen face and began to explain, her voice trembling with tears.
Seeing his beloved being beaten, Xu Kun struggled to get up, but was pinned to the ground by the servants and unable to move.
The commotion attracted the attention of other carriages, and a group of elegantly dressed men and women emerged.
The leading young nobleman looked at the scene before him and asked a question.
"Hey fatso, what's wrong?"
Upon seeing him, Liu Yue immediately explained to the fat man, "This man is the one who's been bothering me. He's been following me around. I really have nothing to do with him."
"Young Master Wang, you must help me clear my name. I really didn't steal anyone."
Upon hearing this, Young Master Wang became intrigued and looked at Liu Yue, asking, "What happened then?"
"This man lives next door to me and he keeps harassing me. He pesters me every day, and I'm so scared."

The fat man was so angry that he ordered his servants to beat him to death on the spot.
Young Master Wang reached out to stop him: "Never mind, a beating will do the trick."
