Chapter 10 Who Wants to Move In?

"Xiaojue is back?"

As soon as Mu Jingjue entered the door, he heard his grandmother calling him affectionately. After changing his shoes, he walked towards his grandmother.

"Grandma, just let Auntie do these chores." He watched his grandmother busy with the flowers on the table.

"Tsk, kid, if you let your aunt do everything, then I'll really become a useless old thing." As the grandmother said this, she cut off the small branches with scissors and put them in the vase.

"Okay."

"Yeah, it's really beautiful."

After finishing this, the aunt came forward and put the cut parts into the trash can.

Grandma's hands kept fiddling with the flowers. Time had carved deep wrinkles on her face, but she was still elegant at this moment.

Mu Jingjue couldn't help but feel dazed for a moment when he looked at his grandmother. Over the years, it was his grandmother who had always been with him.

Ever since his parents died in a car accident, he could only feel alive and at home when he was at home.

Although grandma is always nagging, he will unconsciously relax when listening to her nagging and feel that everything is okay.

Just as he was distracted, his grandmother's kind voice rang in his ears: "How is this girl from the Song family?"

Looking at his grandmother's expectant look, he couldn't help but feel that today's work was indeed done well.

Although he agreed to the blind date partly because of his grandmother, he actually knew that he should move on.

"fine."

"Really?" When grandma heard him say that, she felt there was hope.

Everything about my grandson is good except his love life. He followed the girl from the Si family in his early years, but after several years, there has been no news of her.

She's been so absorbed in her career, yet she still hasn't found someone close to her? Seeing that she's approaching 30 and still single, she's starting to feel a bit worried.

She was afraid that one day when she passed away, she would be left alone with Yanran. However, Yanran was still young and could not be as caring as his wife.

She heard that the girl from the Song family had returned to China and they were of similar age, so she let them meet.

That girl looks pretty good.

If it succeeds, I won’t be afraid of my grandson being alone.

When Mu Jingjue saw his grandmother's expression, he knew that she was thinking too far ahead.

"Then bring the girl home for dinner one day." Grandma said happily. As long as he was willing to bring her, it meant that his grandson was willing to get along with her.

"Okay, let her come over next Wednesday."

"Really? Okay, okay." She clapped his hands excitedly.

Mu Jingjue didn't know why, but he felt that perhaps this was fate. When he needed a woman, she happened to appear in his life, neither early nor late.

In order to reassure his grandmother, he took out the marriage certificate from his pocket and handed it to her.

When grandma saw the red book, she was stunned at first, then she started stroking it and excitedly called aunt to bring her reading glasses.

She put on her reading glasses and opened the notebook with trembling hands.

"Are you married?" she asked in disbelief.

"Um."

"Okay, okay, okay." She said okay three times in a row, which shows how happy she was.

She stroked the paper carefully, as if she were cherishing some treasure.

Now, she felt relieved. In the future, he would be someone else's.

"Oh, by the way, you are in such a hurry to marry someone's daughter, have you discussed it with her parents? Don't make things difficult for the little girl."

"I'll go meet their parents tomorrow."

"Okay, okay, then when will the wedding be held? We can't let the little girl down."

"Listen to their family."

"Okay, okay, you should discuss it with your in-laws and don't let them down."

"When will the little girl move in?"

"Next Wednesday."

"Auntie, auntie, hurry up and clean up the room and pack up your things. My granddaughter-in-law is going to move in soon."

Auntie said happily, "Which room do you want to clean, old lady?"

"Which room should we clean up? The young couple will definitely live in one room. Just prepare some things for them. Go quickly."

"Yes." Auntie agreed and went downstairs to prepare. She was also happy. The young master she had watched grow up was finally going to get married. This house had been quiet for a long time. Finally, someone was moving in.

"Grandma, don't worry, there are still several days left, no rush."

"What do you know?" Grandma scolded.

"Who wants to move in?"
