Chapter 66 Don’t Touch My Head

After dinner, Mu Jingjue knocked on his sister's door. When he went in, he saw his sister still doing homework at the desk. He habitually touched her head.

"Hey, brother, don't touch my head." Mu Yanran knocked his brother's hand away with a pen in disgust. His brother always liked to touch his head, and his hair was always messed up by him. It was really annoying. He didn't know where he learned this bad habit. He was obviously a brother, but he behaved like an old man.

Mu Jingjue took his hand back and sighed, "Alas, our Ranran has grown up and doesn't even let her brother touch her head anymore."

Mu Yanran looked at her brother speechlessly. She felt that her brother was just old. He was only thirty years old, so why did he look like this? The same thing happened to Brother Han Yu.

"Do you have too much homework?" Mu Jingjue sat beside her and took a look at her homework.

"You're not taking it seriously again. Look at this question. You got it wrong last time and you got it wrong this time too. You don't learn your lesson." He tapped her head with his hand again, then took the pen to correct her.

Mu Yanran watched from the side feeling somewhat guilty, not daring to speak.

"Are you tired of studying?" the brother asked again.

He didn't expect much from her, as long as she was happy. As a child of the Mu family, it didn't matter whether she studied well or not. As long as he was around, he would ensure she had enough food and clothing for the rest of her life. She only needed to be happy. She didn't need to have excellent grades like other students. He just wanted her to be happy and healthy for the rest of her life.

"Brother, what's so tiring about studying?" Mu Yanran replied while poking the book with a pen.

"What are you doing here? Did your wife kick you out?"

"Oh, you have no respect for your elders. What do you mean by my wife? That's your sister-in-law."

"Humph, no."

"Be good, you will understand when you grow up."

"No, I don't want to understand. You adults are too troublesome."

It’s good not to understand. If you don’t understand, you won’t have any regrets.

He seemed a little lonely all of a sudden. Mu Yanran looked at him and suddenly fell silent.

She just hopes that her brother is happy. From childhood to adulthood, her brother has been too busy and she feels that he is so tired.

Her brother was too tense and never smiled. She always felt that her brother must have a very hard life.

She still likes the brother she had when she was a child. When she was a child, he would play with her and take her out every day. But now, her brother has little time to accompany her except for eating with her at home. It is much better now. When her parents just passed away, he stayed in the company all night to work overtime, and she would not see him for two or three days. She felt sad when she thought about it.

Every time she missed her parents, she would hide in her bed and cry secretly, but she didn't dare tell her brother, otherwise her brother would be sad too, and she didn't want to make her brother worry.

She looked at her brother and felt that he came to see her for something.

"Brother, what do you want to see me for?"

"Well, my brother is going on a business trip abroad for a few days. You have to stay home and don't get into trouble."

She was a little surprised. Although her brother had gone on business trips before, he never worried about her.

Thinking of this, she felt a little annoyed. The woman had just walked in, and she had to be alone with her for a few days. The thought of it made her annoyed.

"Hmm? Did you hear that?"

"I heard it. Are you afraid that I will bully her?"

"Oh, what nonsense are you talking about? Why don't you say that your brother is afraid that she will bully you?"

"She dares?"

"Little guy, that's right, she wouldn't dare. If she dares, I'll take care of her for you."

"snort."

"But you are not allowed to bully others, otherwise your brother will be abroad and won't be able to save you." Mu Jingjue teased his sister.

"Brother, you're annoying."

"Yes, brother hates it."

"snort."

"Study hard, eat well, and spend time with grandma at home. If you have anything, call your brother, or call your brother Hanyu? Hmm? Did you hear me, little princess?" Mu Jingjue pinched her cheek.

Mu Yanran was still in a bad mood. She didn't want her brother to go on a business trip.

"I heard it, I heard it. Brother is so annoying. He always pinches my face and makes it smaller."

"Hey, come here, let me take a look. Hmm, it's indeed smaller. I'll ask Aunt Yang to make more soup for you tomorrow."

"I don't want it."

"Okay, don't be unhappy. Brother will be back in a few days. It will be very soon. When he comes, he will bring you a gift."

"Then I want chocolate."

"Okay, here's some chocolate."
