She took the phone, without even looking at it, answered it in a bad mood, and said "Hello" without any emotion.
"Ranran, how are you? I heard you had a fever. Is it serious?" Si Hanyu on the opposite side asked anxiously when he heard her voice.
He knew how troublesome this ancestor was. Every time he was sick, he refused to take medicine properly. Now that his brother was not at home, he was even more worried.
He should have sent her back himself that night, but as a boy, he couldn't just rush to send her back.
After finding out the whole story, he knew that he had misunderstood Song Ci. He wanted to go to his house to apologize, but Mu Jingjue was on a business trip again. They were a single man and a single woman, and even though the old lady was there, it was not appropriate, so he did not go.
When he heard Mu Jingjue say that she was sick today, he couldn't help but call her.
This girl, why is her constitution so weak? She has a fever every year.
When Mu Yanran heard the voice of Brother Han Yu on the other side, her originally depressed mood instantly improved.
"Brother Han Yu, I'm fine. I'm almost recovered." Mu Yanran said in a relaxed tone.
"Really? You're not lying to me, are you?" Si Hanyu still didn't quite believe it.
"Why would I lie to you?" she asked unhappily.
"Did you take your medicine properly?" Si Hanyu listened to her voice and it seemed that she was indeed fine, so his worries were reduced by half.
"Humph, of course. Speaking of this, I get angry." Mu Yanran finally found someone to vent her anger on. It was a shame for her to be threatened by her with a video to take medicine these past two days. How could she be so obedient just because of a mere video?
She told her brother that he just thought she was being unreasonable and didn't help her deal with her at all, and didn't even delete the photos.
But Brother Han Yu is different. Brother Han Yu has spoiled me since I was a child and he always does what I want. But if I complain to anyone, those people will be in trouble.
When Si Hanyu heard her say that she would take the medicine properly, he felt relieved. As long as she was willing to take the medicine, everything would be fine.
Then he remembered what she said and asked in unison: "Oh, what's wrong? Who messed with our little princess?"
"Hmph, it's all because of that woman Song Ci. She took ugly photos of me and threatened me to take medicine." She complained with a bitter face.
When Si Hanyu heard this, he was stunned. He thought she was willing to take the medicine, or at least it was the old lady who coaxed her. He didn't expect that it was she who asked her to take the medicine.
He had underestimated her. He hadn't expected that after only a few days in the house, she could actually make people take their medicine obediently? It seemed that he would have to apologize to her properly someday, otherwise it would be too unbecoming of his demeanor.
"I'm doing this for your own good, why are you blaming me?" He smiled bitterly.
"Hmph, even if it's for my own good, you can't take ugly photos of me." Mu Yanran said fiercely.
"Are you on her side too? I'm angry." Mu Yanran heard that he was just like her brother and was not on her side.
"Hehe, silly, what are you talking about? I'm on your side." Si Hanyu coaxed.
"Then why are you still speaking for her?" Mu Yanran kept pressing on.
"Okay, I won't help. Wait for your brother to come back and let him deal with her." Si Hanyu followed her words.
"Hmph, my brother wouldn't do that." Mu Yanran felt a little dispirited when she thought of this. With her brother looking like that, how could he possibly deal with her? He should probably thank her.
"Don't be afraid, let's blow the wind together until he becomes soft-hearted." Si Hanyu said shamelessly.
"Brother Han Yu, why are you so useless?" Mu Yanran said with disdain.
"As long as you are happy, why would Brother Han Yu want to be so ambitious?"
Mu Yanran was coaxed into laughing happily.
The depression of the past two days has finally been relieved.
"I won't talk to you anymore. I'm going to sleep."
"Okay, if you feel unwell, call me."
"I know. You're so nagging."
"You little girl, you actually dislike your brother's nagging. You've really grown up."
"Humph, I'm already grown up, but you and your brother always say I haven't grown up."
"Okay, okay, you've grown up now. Go to sleep quickly, little princess."
"Oh, I'm hanging up then."
"Um."
