Chapter 418 A family should be complete.

Soon, the entire net was pulled up and stacked on the deck.

Feng Ye untied the knot connecting the next net and tied it to the boat. Then, together with A-Can, they first untied the fish from the net.

"This net has a lot of catch, but unfortunately most of them are toadfish."

"That's pretty good. The toadfish probably weighs around 50 pounds, and there are also two sea bass, one black sea bream, and three blue crabs."

"So-so."

Ah-Can pursed his lips and glanced up at the sea, only to see several otters emerging from the water not far away.

Judging from their numbers, there are exactly three large and three small ones. Could they be the same ones that escaped before?

He immediately stood up straight and pointed excitedly at the sea, saying, "Brother Ye, look! The otters are back!"

Upon hearing this, Feng Ye quickly looked up as well.

The group of otters were lying on their backs in the water, still munching on fish, their hind legs kicking the water, looking quite content.

They seemed to have forgotten the fright they had experienced earlier, and also forgotten that many of their family members were missing.

"Really? These guys haven't found an island to land on yet?"

Although otters are aquatic animals, they do not live in the water all the time, and frequently travel between the water and the land.

There are islands in the waters around here, and it looks like there is fresh water on them.

Because otters typically inhabit brackish water areas along the coast.

"Should we go over and see if we can catch them?"

Ah-Can looked on with envy.

That's all money!

"Give it a try."

Feng Ye nodded. "You go and steer the boat. I'll attach a buoy to the fishing net."

As he spoke, he picked up the buoy that had been thrown in the corner, tied it to the fishing net that had not yet been retrieved, and threw it into the sea.

Ah-chan immediately ran excitedly to the cockpit, started the Rising Sun, and slowly drove towards the group of otters.

However, he was a little too happy too soon.

As soon as the Rising Sun approached, the group of otters all dived into the water and disappeared without a trace.

"Damn it, you tricked me into making a wasted trip and wasting my time."

Ah-chan cursed and swore in the driver's seat, clearly unwilling to accept defeat.

"Since they ran away, let's just leave it at that."

Feng Ye also expressed some regret, "Let's dissect the fish, getting down to business is more important."

"Um."

Ah-Can sighed helplessly and could only reluctantly join Feng Ye in getting back to the work of cleaning the fish.

After all the fish were untangled from the net, they tidied it up a bit and then continued to haul it in.

And so it goes, repeating itself endlessly.

To their surprise, when they had collected half of the second-to-last net, a delightful surprise suddenly arrived.

There was an otter caught in the net, and it was an adult otter.

This made the two of them extremely happy.

"Run, run! You'll still fall into our hands."

As soon as the otter was pulled onto the boat, Ah-chan gave it a big bag.

"Stop hitting it, hurry up and get the rope out."

The rope and scissors that had been taken out earlier had been put back into the cabin, so Ah-chan had to make another trip.

"good."

Ah-chan happily ran towards the cabin.

While waiting, Feng Ye didn't sit idle; he continued to put the recycling net back in.

This acquisition was extraordinary; a series of pleasant surprises followed.

Surprisingly, five otters—two large and three small—were caught in the net.

He was stunned.

Good heavens, they've caught this whole group of otters!

There were only sixteen otters in total. Guo Changling caught four large and one small. They had caught five before, and the rest were all caught in this net.

I don't know how these otters could be so unlucky as to get stuck in the net.

"Ah Chan, there's more than one, there are others in the fishing net!"

He shouted excitedly towards the cabin.

"Huh? There's more?"

Upon hearing Feng Ye's shout, Ah Can grabbed a rope and scissors and rushed out of the cabin.

"Yes, those few that escaped are all still in the fishing net."

"Are you that lucky?"

Excitement gleamed in Ah-Can's eyes as he rushed to the boat, his gaze fixed on the otters caught in the fishing net.

"It's great that a single net caught them all."

"Yes, the whole family should be together."

Feng Ye casually uttered a reference to a later meme.

Ah-Can hadn't heard this before, but he could understand the meaning from the words, and said with a smile, "That's right, it should be neat and tidy."

The two quickly got to work and tied up the three adult otters.

As for the three cubs, they were released as usual.

Without the protection of adult otters, whether these cubs can survive is no longer their concern; it's up to fate.

"Sigh, they let it go again..."

"Don't worry about it, get back to work."

Feng Ye glanced at the sun; it was probably already 4:30.

Although they have sped up, with so many fishing nets, it will inevitably take time.

It seems we'll have to turn back in the dark halfway through.

"Brother Ye, there are only two nets left, let's bring them in together?"

"Okay, let's collect them all together. We can dismantle the fish on the way back."

Feng Ye nodded in agreement.

He actually had this idea too; even if Ah-chan didn't bring it up, he would have.

"We'll have lunch a little earlier tomorrow, then we won't trawle the nets anymore, we'll start collecting the sticky nets directly."

"Hmm, arriving an hour early should be enough time."
