"Damn it..."
Feng Ye was immediately alarmed and glared fiercely at A-Can.
This is on the seabed, and this shipwreck is so old that it's completely decayed.
If Ah-Can's punch breaks the balance of forces and causes the ship to fall apart, then the two of them will be buried at the bottom of the sea.
"Damn it, what a pig-brain! Daring to act recklessly underwater..."
Feng Ye cursed inwardly, then quickly stepped forward, grabbed A-Can, and tried to leave the cabin.
However, his pull failed to move Ah-Can.
Ah-chan was staring blankly at the spot he had smashed, an incredulous expression on his face.
Feng Ye followed his gaze and was stunned by what he saw.
It turned out that Ah-chan's punch had broken a rotten wooden plank, revealing another space.
Clearly, this is a hidden compartment.
Moreover, this hidden compartment was quite spacious, as several boxes could be vaguely seen inside.
Fortunately, the creaking sound stopped at this point, and the cabin was sturdy enough that there was no need to worry about it collapsing.
The two looked at each other, a look of surprise flashing in their eyes.
Unexpectedly, after the initial disappointment, a glimmer of hope appeared.
Opportunities always fall unexpectedly from the sky, favoring those with great fortune.
If Ah-chan hadn't accidentally broken the wooden partition with his punch in a fit of anger, this hidden compartment would never have been discovered.
Who would have thought that there was something else hidden inside the cabin?
It's obvious without even thinking that the boxes inside were hidden by the cargo owner, or rather, the ship captain.
The person who knew this secret probably perished, which is why it wasn't exposed.
That's great, they've gotten a good deal.
The two were filled with excitement. After communicating with gestures and guesswork, they decided to move the box in the hidden compartment outside the cabin first.
However, before that, the hole needs to be enlarged, at least enough for one person to pass through.
They began to carefully pry open the wooden planks next to the hole.
We dare not pry it open too roughly, lest we break the ship's cabin apart.
Feng Ye remained highly attentive, and if anything seemed amiss, he would quickly pull Ah Can away.
Even if the ship's cabin collapses, the boxes can still be dug out from the rubble.
But if a person is pinned down, they will be helpless and can only wait to die.
Fortunately, thanks to the protection of Mazu, the worst-case scenario did not occur.
They successfully enlarged the hole to a size large enough for one person to pass through.
Then, Feng Ye went inside first, while A-Can stayed outside and used a flashlight to illuminate the way for him.
Feng Ye tried to lift the box on top, but found it wasn't heavy at all.
Instead, it felt light and he picked it up very easily.
A chill ran through him.
What's inside? How come it's so light?
Could it be that the box is empty, or that it contains some worthless junk?
But he quickly dismissed the idea.
Since it's hidden in a secret compartment, it certainly can't be something insignificant.
Whatever's inside, let's move it out first. We'll find out when we open it on the boat.
I should at least satisfy my curiosity and see what's inside.
He passed the box out through the hole, gesturing for Ah-Can to move it outside the cabin.
Ah-Can found a place to put the flashlight so that the light could shine into the hidden compartment before he started to carry the box.
He was surprised when he picked her up and turned his gaze to Feng Ye.
It feels so light, it doesn't seem like it contains any treasure.
Seeing his expression, Feng Ye knew what A-Can was thinking, so he quickly pointed outside and gestured to urge him on.
It's really too troublesome to communicate underwater since you can't speak.
Although Ah-Can didn't quite understand, he nodded and carried the box out of the cabin.
Feng Ye stayed in the hidden compartment and went to move the next box.
The second box was about the same size and shape as the one that was taken away.
He had assumed it would be light and easy to pick up, but he found it to be quite heavy, and he couldn't lift it up at all.
Instantly, his eyes lit up.
Heavy is good, heavy is wonderful.
That's right, having enough weight means there's something valuable inside.
Given the size and weight of this box, he would never believe it wasn't filled with gold and silver jewelry.
He was like a man possessed, fully revitalized and brimming with energy.
He took a deep breath and used all his strength to lift the box, then struggled to crawl out of the hidden compartment.
Just then, Ah-Can returned and saw how hard he was working. He was overjoyed and knew that there was something good inside.
He quickly stepped forward to help.
I was even happier when I felt the weight in my hand.
If he weren't underwater with an air tube in his mouth, he would be grinning from ear to ear.
With two people sharing the weight, the box was quickly moved out of the cabin and placed on the deck.
The two exchanged a smile, their eyes sparkling with excitement.
Then, they eagerly returned to the hidden compartment and continued to move the remaining boxes out one by one.
There were quite a few boxes in this hidden compartment, a total of six.
However, none of the other four boxes weighed as much; they were all significantly lighter.
But it's not as light as the first box; it's still a bit heavier.
