After the boat came to a stop, everyone disembarked and stepped onto the solid dock.
It feels so good to be grounded!
The boat has been rocking for the past two days and two nights. Although there was no danger, it is still not as safe as being on land.
"I'm finally back, it feels so good!"
"Yes, we've finally reached the shore!"
"Huh, the wind isn't strong at the dock, and the ground isn't wet. It seems like the typhoon didn't pass through here."

The large group of people on the Harvest also needed to let everyone know they were safe, and it would be appropriate for Xiao Guowu to accompany them.

Before Xiao Guowu could say anything, Xiao Zhaojun said, "Awu, you go with Aye and tell your brother to go to the boatmen's houses to let them know you're safe."
Xiao Guowu nodded and followed Feng Ye away from the dock.
The road surface was relatively dry along the way, except for some potholes and puddles.
Moreover, there was no devastation after the typhoon passed; the trees were all intact, without being broken or uprooted.

Perhaps the typhoon changed direction while it was still at sea and didn't make landfall here.
The shops near the pier were either closed or didn't have telephones installed.
The two walked for quite some time before finding a small shop with a telephone.
After communicating with the shop owner, I used the shop's phone to call the village committee.
After hanging up the phone, I waited a few minutes and when I called back, Ye Qingling answered.
"Ah Ye, are you alright? There's been a typhoon these past two days, and we haven't heard from you at all. Your family is worried sick."
Ye Qingling's voice carried a hint of concern and excitement.
"Don't worry, we're all fine. We've returned safely and are now in the county."
"Just got back? Where were you when the typhoon hit? Were you still at sea?"
"Yes, the typhoon came too fast, we couldn't get back in time, so we had to find an island to dock on..."
"Oh my god, that's so dangerous!"
"There's no danger. That island is very sheltered from the wind, with a small lagoon, so it's perfectly safe."

"Then give him the phone. Ah Wu is here. Let the two brothers say a few words."

Feng Ye handed the phone to Xiao Guowu, letting him speak to Xiao Guowen.
Xiao Guowu took the phone and started chatting with Xiao Guowen.
A few minutes later, the call ended.
After paying the phone bill, the two returned to the pier.

At midnight, the dock was still deserted, let alone any cars coming by.
With no other option, Feng Ye and Xiao Guowu had to leave the dock again and walk to find a car.
The two saw trucks along the way that were either loaded with goods or rushing to load them.
We walked all the way to the seafood market, but couldn't find a single available car.
It's almost one o'clock now, and the market hasn't opened yet, but there are already some people and goods that have arrived early at the entrance.
