Wang Teng and Zhang Qiang were both somewhat disappointed.
"I don't know either, but it's very likely not a yellowfin tuna."
Feng Ye took a deep breath and refocused his attention on the fishing rod in his hand. "Although this fish has a strong pull, it lacks staying power. It doesn't seem like a yellowfin bream."
Fang Yi chuckled: "I'll dive down and see for myself."
"Don't……"
Feng Ye tried to stop him, but it was too late; Fang Yi had already plunged into the water.
Soon, Fang Yi surfaced again, excitedly exclaiming, "Holy crap, what a huge fish! It's even bigger than that yellowfin tuna from before!"
"You saw it? What kind of fish was it?"
Wang Teng asked impatiently.
"I can't recognize it. The fish has a brown back and a white belly. It's round and plump like a little piglet, and it also looks a bit like the yellowfin tuna we just caught."
Wang Teng and Zhang Qiang both looked at Feng Ye, hoping to find out what kind of fish it was from him.
Feng Ye frowned.
With so little information, how could he possibly guess? There are plenty of fish of that color.
And isn't a body shape similar to the yellowfin fin just a spindle? There are many of those too.
"I can't guess. I'll find out when I pull the fish out of the water."
Feng Ye walked the fish back and forth until it was exhausted and almost stopped resisting, then prepared to pull it out of the water.
As soon as the force was applied, the fish felt pain, but suddenly resisted and tried to burrow deeper into the seabed.
"Good heavens, this fish can even play dead, it's quite a handful," Feng Ye said, pulling the fish while cursing.
"Ah Ye, don't let it get away. Fish this big are hard to catch," Fang Yi reminded him nervously.
"Don't worry, it can't escape."
As Feng Ye spoke, he pulled hard again.
Unexpectedly, the fish still had strength, and the fishing rod bent to an extreme degree.
The group watched with bated breath, fearing that the fishing rod would break under the force.
Feng Ye was also startled. He was just about to loosen his grip to relieve the pressure on the fishing rod when he heard a "crack".
The fishing rod broke!
Then, with another "biu" sound, the fishing line snapped.
