"Teacher, I asked my junior sister to help me get food from the cafeteria." Xie Wanying said.
"Are you worried that there won't be enough food here? Don't worry, he's like me. When he cooks, he remembers to cook a few more portions, for fear that some of you won't have time to eat. Being a doctor is very busy." As a fellow medical professional, Teacher Lu knows the nature of a doctor's work and said with a smile.
Hearing this, Xie Wanying sat down.
Zhang Shuping took a clean bowl and scooped some fried noodles from the thermos for her. Suddenly, he heard footsteps. He looked up and saw a man at the door.
"Uncle!" Two excited words immediately came out from Zhang Shuping's trembling lips.
Hearing the noise, Xie Wanying and Teacher Lu also turned their heads.
The man who walked in was about 40 years old, with handsome features, thick eyebrows, deep eye sockets, and a pair of gray eyes that were clean and sharp. The only thing was that his hair and beard seemed to have been neglected, the ends of his long hair were a bit messy, and the stubble on his chin was not shaved neatly.
As he walked, the man shook out the half-worn white coat, quickly put his other hand into the other sleeve of the coat, put on the coat without buttoning it, and took a few steps, carrying the wind with him, as carefree and unrestrained as a chivalrous hero.
Such a handsome doctor must be like a star wherever he goes, making a deep impression. At first glance, Xie Wanying was sure that she had never seen this doctor before. Moreover, the white coat he wore was the work clothes prepared by the department for visitors, and there was no hospital brand, which meant that he was not a doctor from the National Association.
...
...
Who is it? Zhang Shuping called him uncle, but the second senior sister clearly said that Teacher Lu only had one son. Confused, Xie Wanying heard Teacher Lu suddenly yelling beside her.
"What are you doing here?" Teacher Lu asked the other party as soon as he opened his mouth, his face looking a little green.
"My mother is sick, how can I not come?" said Uncle Zhang.
It seems that this man is really Teacher Lu’s son.
"You, you, you--" Teacher Lu pointed at his son.
Uncle Zhang put his hands in the pockets of his white coat. He acted like a lone ranger. He did whatever he wanted regardless of the glares from others, including Teacher Lu. He walked directly to Zhang Shuping and looked down at the fried noodles in the thermos. He stroked his unshaven chin and commented, "Well, it's okay to give this to the patient."
"Yes." Zhang Shuping showed him a rare smile since his grandmother was hospitalized.
"I didn't notify you to come." Teacher Lu said to him while patting the bed, and it seemed like he wanted to drive his son away.
"Yes, you didn't tell me." Uncle Zhang turned around and admitted what his mother said.
"Who told you?" asked Teacher Lu.
"You can guess who it is." Uncle Zhang smiled. The handsome middle-aged man's face seemed to be weathered, so his smile looked deep and strange.
Teacher Lu was startled and looked at his grandson.
Uncle Zhang shook his finger and said, "Mom, please don't embarrass my nephew. How could Shuping tell me?"
Zhang Shuping was afraid of his grandparents. He didn't dare to do anything unless his grandmother asked him to do so.
The more Mr. Lu thought about it, the more his brows furrowed: Who could it be?
"You never expected it, did you? Look at yourself. You end up falling into the hands of whoever you like." Uncle Zhang waved his finger, as if to explain the puzzlement in his mother's expression.
Teacher Lu's face changed drastically: "Did Cao Yong inform you?"
Mother finally guessed it right. Uncle Zhang laughed twice.
