Chapter 1548 was stopped

Fortunately, according to her observation, her cousin has a strong will and is able to keep calm, and as long as he can control his temporary emotional fluctuations, the impact will not be significant.

Xiao Shugang felt much better and waved to his cousin: I'm fine.

Xie Wanying nodded and turned around.

The old lady sitting on the other side was old and frail, and did not have the strong mentality of her cousin, so she was more seriously affected.

"Mom, Mom!" The patient's daughter called out to her mother loudly.

The old lady had her eyes tightly closed and her hands and feet were shaking. She looked like she was about to fall into the pool and drown.

"Put her on the ground." This time Xie Wanying gave completely different instructions from before.

Several people around the patient hurriedly laid the patient flat on the ground.

Xie Wanying walked over and picked up the defibrillator she was carrying, quickly unbuttoned the patient's clothes, and attached electrodes to the patient.

...

...

This defibrillator that can be taken in an ambulance and out of the hospital is obviously different from the defibrillator used in the hospital. It is called AED (Automated External Defibrillator). I used it once when I went to school with Teacher Xin to treat a patient. The defibrillator in the hospital requires a professional doctor to professionally analyze the patient's electrocardiogram and then determine whether the patient needs defibrillation. The doctor then personally takes two electrode pads and puts them on the patient for defibrillation.

AED is almost fully automatic. Once turned on, the machine will issue instructions. The operator only needs to follow what the machine says to perform defibrillation on the patient when necessary. The early AED animation display was very simple, relying more on the instruction sound emitted by the machine and the manual on the machine to tell the operator where to stick the electrodes on the patient's body. The machine will then read and analyze the patient's electrocardiogram and issue instructions on whether defibrillation is needed.

The completely fool-proof operation is very helpful for non-medical personnel to rescue patients.

The reason why AED is widely praised and promoted by the medical community is that, as mentioned before, the chances of saving most patients with sudden cardiac death come from the fact that these patients are in a state of arrhythmia and ventricular fibrillation when they are about to die suddenly, and what they need most is defibrillation rather than CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Hammering the precordial area will cause certain damage to the patient's sternum and ribs, so using a defibrillator is the safest and most reliable.

"Get out of the way." Xie Wanying was about to turn on the machine. After the defibrillator reads the patient's electrocardiogram data, it may perform defibrillation. It is imperative that everyone around the patient get out of the way in advance to keep a safe distance and take precautions.

Regardless of the type of defibrillator, other people must all move aside when defibrillating the patient to avoid accidental injury by the electric current emitted by the defibrillator.

"Mom, Mom." The patient's daughter was pulled back a little by Lu Xin and could only shout to her mother who seemed to be unconscious.

Suddenly, the flight attendant rushed in and shouted at Xie Wanying: "What do you want to do?"

The maintenance staff discovered that they were using machines. No matter what machine they used on the plane, it could have a fatal impact on the flight of the plane, and it was related to the lives of all the people on the flight, so they had to stop it. This is the training and education that domestic flight attendants receive.

Xie Wanying suddenly remembered what era it was.

Not to mention China, there are some small-scale trials of using AED on airplanes abroad, but it will take several years for them to be widely used and for health departments to issue regulations requiring them to be installed on all airplanes. The situation in China is even more difficult to describe. After AED was introduced in recent years, it is generally only equipped in the 120 emergency centers in megacities and ambulances of tertiary hospitals.
