Chapter 225: Cold Face of General Second High School

Xie Wanying only received the specific notice last evening and was unable to greet the department teachers in advance, so she could only go to the doctor's office alone.

She couldn't find out who would be her teaching teacher and no one had informed her.

There were several doctors busy in the doctor's office. They were busy logging into the computer to write medical records or check test reports, or standing by the desk to organize things. No one had time to look up at her. It was difficult to tell whether they were medical students, interns, or doctors in this department. Unless you looked closer, you would definitely be looked down upon.

A nurse came in with medical records and turned to leave. Xie Wanying thought about it and asked the nurse in a low voice: "I'm a new intern. Teacher, do you know which teacher I should look for?"

"Didn't they tell you who to look for?" The nurse was also surprised to hear her words, "I don't know how your doctor arranged it. Why don't you wait here? When the department is changing shifts, if you still don't know, you can ask the director."

After hearing this, Xie Wanying did not ask any more questions, but walked to the nurses' station to continue listening.

Sure enough, the nurse returned to the nurses' station and told her colleagues what she had asked: "A new intern? I find that strange. Didn't the interns come a long time ago? They all came to work after the Chinese New Year."

"How many?" asked another nurse.

"She's alone."

...

...

"Could it be a sudden and impromptu arrangement?"

"Who does she need to go to?"

"Let's go find Doctor Tan."

"Is this the group that Dr. Tan is in charge of?"

"Didn't I tell you? Beds 1 to 12 are under the care of Doctor Tan."

After receiving this important information, Xie Wanying went to look for the department's doctor personnel list hanging on the wall and found a doctor named Tan Kelin, who was at the level of associate chief physician, but looking at his photo he looked quite young, probably about the same age as Dr. Jiang.

After recognizing what this person looked like, Xie Wanying followed the clues and went to find the ward first. There were four wards with beds 1 to 12. There was a chief doctor and a chief nurse in charge of two wards, exactly two teams.

I looked around the four wards to see if there were any doctors. I happened to see a young male doctor wearing a green operating room scrubs suit inside and a white coat outside walking into the ward, then into the second ward and in front of bed number six.

"Did you eat or drink anything this morning?" the doctor asked.

The patient shook his head: "No, no, you told me yesterday not to eat it."

"The anesthesiologist came to see you yesterday, right?"

"It seems like he did. He said he was giving me anesthesia."

"Okay, the nurse will take you to the operating room later."

"Will you perform the surgery on me then, Doctor Sun?"

"Dr. Tan and I will do it for you. I told you this before."

The patient may be too nervous to remember clearly what the doctor said to him before and can only nod.

Standing at the door, Xie Wanying stole a glance at the name written on the doctor's name tag: Resident Physician Sun Yubo, who was younger than her senior brother Huang and looked a bit like a boy who had not grown up.

After communicating with the patient, Sun Yubo completed his mission and was about to leave.

"Doctor Sun. I'm here for internship today." Xie Wanying took the opportunity to quickly catch up with the man and ask a few questions, "The nurse said I can see Doctor Tan."

"I didn't hear Dr. Tan say anyone was coming for internship today."

When this person answered her, he was walking with his head down, without even looking at her. He just wanted to explain that he was busy with things.

As the senior sister said last night, the students in the second general foreign language class generally have aloof faces. In contrast, the instructors that Teacher Ren found for them in those days were really carefully selected and took great care of them.
