Most people in the hospital normally take a break on weekends.
In the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery of the National Association, Fu Xinheng opened the door of his office and saw an uninvited guest standing by the window of his office. He asked, "Are you going to work today?"
"No." Chang Jiawei answered without turning around.
"Why are you looking for me when you're not at work?" Without any suspicion, Fu Xinheng walked to his desk to work while sending the guest away.
"You can see the downstairs from here, but I can't see it from my office." Chang Jiawei continued talking without turning his head, his tone very anxious.
Before Fu Xinheng sat down, he finally saw the newspaper thrown on his desk and read a hint of meaning: "Who do you want to see?"
"It's written in the newspaper that his female classmate flew back today. She took a flight this morning and arrived at the Capital Airport."
"Then what?"
"Cao Yong went back to the hospital this morning, did you know?"
...
...
Fu Xinheng obviously didn't expect to hear such news. He turned around and asked, "Are you telling the truth? Did you see Dr. Cao come back with your own eyes?"
"Impossible." Zhou Junpeng, who followed Fu Xinheng in, couldn't believe it either. If Cao Yong was really that kind of person, his fellow villager Huang Zhilei, who was known as a hero, would definitely be the first to explode.
"Why do you think it's impossible? Why do you think I'm blind?" Chang Jiawei turned around and pointed at his eyes excitedly with both hands, "My vision is 2.0."
"Speak calmly." Fu Xinheng told him, "Dr. Cao came back for his work. You're overthinking it."
"I swear, I'm definitely not overthinking it." Chang Jiawei turned around again, looked at the car that was about to park downstairs of the inpatient department, and said, "Come and see, is his female classmate here?"
Zhou Junpeng ran over and leaned against the window, looking at the person getting out of the car downstairs with Chang Jiawei.
Picking up the cup, Fu Xinheng hesitated when he wanted to drink some water.
"Really!" Zhou Junpeng burst out in great surprise.
"Calm down." Fu Xinheng asked them to keep their voices down. This was his office, not a place for people to gossip.
"You ask me to calm down, but how can I? I've already told you that he's not a good person." Chang Jiawei walked back and forth in front of him, rubbing his palms with his fists from time to time.
Fu Xinheng raised his head and gave him another cold look: "You know who Doctor Cao is."
"Yes, I know. Did you see it? He is not a human being. Believe it or not, she is going upstairs to look for Cao Yong."
"Even if she goes upstairs to see Cao Yong now, it's a patient coming to see a doctor. This is originally Dr. Cao's job."
Bang!
Chang Jiawei slammed his hands on his old classmate's desk, his face turning green and red, unable to bear it any longer: "I told you to help you get her to work here, if you treat her like this, don't expect me to help you get her again."
"What do you mean?" Fu Xinheng frowned.
"Don't tell me to separate public and private affairs. If your employee's partner cheats on you, are you considered a human being if you help him or her cheat?"
Fu Xinheng seemed not to understand what he said for a moment and did not move.
"Haven't you figured it out?" Chang Jiawei wanted to smash his old classmate's wooden head with a hammer.
"I just don't understand. Why are you so excited? If Doctor Cao is just doing his job, why are you making a fuss?"
"He could have referred her to another doctor to avoid suspicion. Why didn't he do that?"
