Dean Zhang walked into the crowd and quickly mingled with the employees. He was not arrogant at all and openly encouraged everyone to continue to speak freely: "It's a good thing for young people to participate. It's okay. Just say whatever you want to say."
As hospital managers, the directors have similar ideas. Director Zhang's statement reminded me of Director Wu of the National Association. Director Wu likes to describe young people as catfish. He is not afraid of young people saying something that seems to be unrealistic, as long as the young people can stir up the boiling energy of the old pond.
Director Zhang was not afraid to speak frankly. He said to the group of people from the National Association, "I just spoke to your Director Wu on the phone. Director Wu is looking forward to the surgical cooperation between our two hospitals just like me. We are particularly concerned about the movements of you young people. Doctor Xie, Doctor Song, please show us your performance."
Eh? Xie Wanying was stunned for a moment, and a sense of doubt emerged in her heart.
Did she just hear it wrong?
Did the president of the National Association mention her classmate Xie? Does the president of the National Association know about her classmate Xie?
(President Wu: President Zhang, please take it easy. Don’t let me, Teacher Wu, reveal my secrets.)
Dean Zhang seemed to have a telepathic connection with his old friend Lao Wu and stopped talking.
After the discussion, the members of the National Association went back home.
...
...
I said hello to Song's father before leaving. He wanted to stay in the hospital to accompany his friends.
The friend's surgery went well. Song's father felt relieved. He smiled as he spoke. He held his son's boss' hand tightly and thanked him repeatedly: "Thank you, Dr. Cao, for coming all the way here."
"I wasn't able to help at all."
"Doctor Cao was delayed by your car. Is the car repaired?"
"Fixed it. Fixed it."
"Repaired tire?"
"Yes, the tire." Cao Yong was grateful to Song's father for giving him an excuse, even though the excuse sounded a bit lame.
Later, it turned out that his hunch was correct and this excuse was really lame.
"Brother, what's wrong with your car tire?" Xie Wanying asked.
The group walked to his car, and everyone was ready to get in his car which had just had its tire repaired.
When she asked, Cao Yong suddenly remembered that she was the driver's daughter and was not as good at checking cars as other girls. He quickly reached out and pulled her aside, saying, "No need to check. It's fixed. Get in the car."
I heard from my senior brother that he was going back to the hospital. Thinking that they were out for a day, although there was no surgery scheduled today, it would be unfair to leave all the daily work to Senior Brother Huang and Geng. Xie Wanying turned around and got into the car.
Everybody get in the car.
Senior Brother Tao was sitting in the passenger seat.
"Brother Tao, is your car broken down too?"
When Tao Zhijie received the question from his junior sister, he was prepared and answered quickly: "My car is broken."
To be exact, this time he was not lying. When he went out, he found that the front of his car was scratched by someone last night. Suddenly he received a notice from Zhang Huayao, and fearing that he would not be able to make it in time, he took a taxi to Guozhi.
The only mistake he made was that he got kicked in the head by a donkey, and the next part of his speech got darker and darker: "I ran into your Senior Brother Cao at the auto repair shop. My car was being repaired slowly, so I had to take his car. I heard you were at Fangze for a meeting, so I just happened to come and listen."
The cell phone rang. After listening to Brother Tao's words, Xie Wanying received a call from her childhood friend.
"Yingying." Wu Lixuan said from the other side, "I was just about to go out when I found out something happened."
"What's wrong?"
"The car of Dr. Tao from your hospital was scratched when it was parked in the community."
