Chapter 36 Respiratory Diseases 3

"What do you want to do with her?"

"Isn't she studying at the medical school in the capital? I heard that she is helping the old professor prescribe medicine in the clinic. I'll go find her to see if she can help me with my sore throat," said Aunt Fang.

"You, please get me some medicine too." Uncle Fang told his wife that he seemed to be feeling unwell as well. He put his hand on his dizzy forehead and it seemed that he could not eat breakfast.

Aunt Fang quickly ran to the sleeper car to look for someone.

Sun Rongfang's considerate daughter provided her with a cardigan sweater, so she slept in a temperature that was just right, neither too hot nor too cold. After waking up, she stretched and felt very comfortable, except that her neck felt a little sore when she tilted her head.

After waking up, she found that Uncle Fang across from her seemed to be having some problems. Sun Rongfang looked at Uncle Fang's face and asked, "Do you have a cold?"

"Don't you have a cold?" Uncle Fang asked her.

"Of course not." Sun Rongfang said, "My daughter prepared a cardigan for me, so I don't feel cold."

"Not hot?" Uncle Fang remembered how she was so hot in her thick cotton-padded jacket last night, and was surprised that the mother and daughter could wear sweaters and not feel cold.

...

...

"It's not hot." Sun Rongfang said. Seeing the thick coats that the couple had thrown on the seat, she said in surprise, "Oh my God, it's not winter, why are you wearing such thick clothes?"

As if they were the idiots, Uncle Fang got angry and said, "What's wrong? It's cold, and a thick cotton coat is better than a sweater, you idiot."

Xie Wanying woke up earlier and bought some steamed buns from the breakfast car on the train platform. When she heard someone scolding her mother, she walked up to Uncle Fang and said, "You are wearing thick clothes like this, and it's easy to catch a cold. I think you have a cold too. Respiratory diseases such as colds are most likely to occur suddenly in the north in autumn."

It seemed that he and his wife really had a cold, and the other party seemed to have predicted it. Uncle Fang couldn't bear to lose face and said angrily: "You are not a doctor, you just want to go to medical school, how can you know shit? Wait until the real doctor comes back, and see what you can say."

Just then, Aunt Fang came back after finding the person, only to see two women following her.

One had a bun on her hair, a chubby face, and was about 40 years old. The other had a ponytail, wore glasses, and a dress, looking very young, probably in her early twenties. These two were probably the medical student mother and daughter that Aunt Fang mentioned.

"Dr. Lin and her mother are here." Aunt Fang said to her husband, "Dr. Lin is so nice. She came to see us as soon as she heard we had a cold."

"That's just right. Let me tell you, Doctor Lin. I don't know where this person came from. She said that wearing cotton clothes will make it easier to catch a cold, and also said that if I put on and take off clothes later, I will be more likely to catch a cold. You are a doctor, so you should tell her, right?" Uncle Fang turned and asked Doctor Lin.

Xie Wanying knew that the so-called Dr. Lin Liqiong was at most a third or fourth-year clinical student at this age, and she certainly did not have enough clinical experience. Of course, if she really had medical talent, she should know that her professional opinion was correct.

Under the gaze of Uncle Fang and Aunt Fang, Lin Li Jones adjusted her glasses politely and said, "What she said is incorrect."

"Look!" Uncle Fang shouted excitedly, as if he had let out a sigh of relief.

Sun Rongfang was stunned. What did that mean? Was it wrong for her to be a daughter of a doctor?
