"What's going on?" What was this Mrs. Lin calling out again? Sun Rongfang looked at Director Wu in confusion and asked.
Director Wu smiled bitterly. They probably couldn't recruit people from the eighth-year class of the National Association. The graduates of that class were medical graduates that no major hospital in the country could get.
The train stopped at a temporary station, and an ambulance arrived. Aunt Fang accompanied Uncle Fang, who had already woken up, off the train. When the couple passed by Xie Wanying, they kept saying, "Thank you, thank you!!"
"You're welcome. This is what I should do." Xie Wanying said.
"I believe in you. You will become a good doctor in the future, much better than her. In the future, my old man and I will only go to you for medical treatment." Aunt Fang said, holding Xie Wanying's hand.
Sun Rongfang rolled her eyes again. Didn't the couple dislike her daughter's career as a doctor before? Now they have changed their tune, a 180-degree change.
Director Wu looked at his watch, then at the mother and daughter of the Lin family who were hiding behind the crowd, shook his head, and said, "After returning to the hospital, I will talk to the director of the Medical Education Department about your problem."
Hearing this, Lin Liqiong covered her face with her hands.
Mother Lin was dumbfounded and shouted, "No, Director, what's going on? Who are you asking my daughter to see?"
...
...
"Did you hear that? Your daughter has a serious problem. If she passes her internship at our hospital, we won't be able to present her to the general public." Director Wu spread out his hands.
Mother Lin screamed in shock, and chased after Director Wu: "Director, Director, please listen to my explanation. My daughter was not like this originally. It was all because of this guy that she argued with her. Of course, we didn't know she was a student of the National Association at first."
Director Wu put his hands on his hips, and said to Lin's mother, "First of all, you are probably the one who should be educated. When your child does something wrong, why don't you teach him to correct it immediately? What do you want to do with your face? I tell you, medicine is different from other disciplines. If you don't correct it, the most serious consequence is killing people instead of saving lives."
Mother Lin started to cry. What should she do with her daughter now? Will she not be able to graduate and become a doctor?
"Revise it well. Go back to study hard." Director Wu said earnestly, and waved to Xie Wanying, "Come, let's talk more."
Obviously, Director Wu felt that even if he could not recruit students like Xie Wanying who graduated from the eighth grade of the National Association in the future, he could not help wanting to teach this little girl now that she was humble and eager to learn. Because every teacher wanted to teach a good student. Maybe in the future Xie Wanying would remember him and really consider coming to Xuanwu Hospital.
So, Sun Rongfang accompanied her daughter to the sleeper car where Director Wu was. It was the first time for the mother and daughter to see what a sleeper car was, and they were very curious and looked around.
Director Wu even invited the two of them to have lunch in the dining car. The train conductor gave the three of them a free lunch because Xie Wanying and her friends had saved the passengers and resolved the crisis on the train.
When her daughter was talking to Director Wu, Sun Rongfang listened with eyes wide open, even though she didn't understand a lot of what was said.
"Where did you get all this medical knowledge?" Director Wu asked Xie Wanying, "Is there a doctor in your family? Did someone teach you?"
"To be honest, Teacher Wu, my mother used to work in a health center when she went to the countryside. She wanted to learn to be a doctor but had no opportunity. Otherwise, my mother would have been a doctor whom I admired." Xie Wanying expressed her thoughts sincerely.
