With her promise, Yazhi's father was filled with gratitude and held her hand: "Thank you, Dr. Xie. Without you, we don't know what to do."
The patient's family agreed. The next morning, Xie Wanying reported the situation to Teacher Sun and obtained the teacher's consent. She came to the department early and accompanied the child to the operating room directly.
As soon as the door of the operating room was closed, Yazhi's father sat outside and waited anxiously.
Holding the hand of the doctor, Xiao Yazhi stepped into the mysterious area of the operating room. This child is very curious. When he arrived at the operating room, he didn't cry like other children. Instead, he kept looking around, as if looking for some treasure.
"Wait for sister." Xie Wanying told the child to change into scrubs in the locker room, put on a surgical cap, hang a mask around his neck, and wear operating room slippers, and then put on patient clothes for the child.
Just as she walked out of the locker room, a call came from the department. Xie Wanying took out her cell phone and answered it.
"Ask Dr. Zhang to wait. Something happened in the department and we need to go to the operating room later." Sun Yubo explained to the students opposite.
After receiving the teacher's instructions, Xie Wanying took the child to the anesthesiology doctor's office. Dr. Zhang was the only one left in the office, so Xie Wanying went over to explain the situation.
"Did the ward say when they would be coming down?" Dr. Zhang asked, in a bad mood as he was preparing to give the minor anesthesia.
...
...
In fact, Dr. Zhang's workload was reduced. Xie Wanying came to the operating room in advance to take care of the child, so he, the anesthesiologist, didn't have to coax the child. He had superb skills and could have waited until about the right time to go out to do the anesthesia. However, after the ward's notice came down, he didn't have to work early but had to leave work later.
Xie Wanying understood the anesthesiologists' feelings of being dragged down, and helped the teachers in the ward explain: "I'm afraid it was something else that happened suddenly, and it wasn't caused by the teachers themselves. I hope Dr. Zhang will understand."
Doctor Zhang put on a cold, angry face and ignored her nice words.
When the uncle was talking to his sister, little Yazhi's little eyes noticed that something sticking out of his uncle's pocket was about to fall. His little hand reached out involuntarily, wanting to help his uncle, and touched his pocket.
As a result, her little hands were of no help and an object fell freely from her uncle's pocket onto the floor tiles.
Doctor Zhang and Xie Wanying looked down at the ground instantly.
"I'm sorry, Doctor Zhang, I'll help you pick it up." Xie Wanying hurriedly squatted down to help Doctor Zhang pick up the things that fell on the ground, fearing that an unhappy Doctor Zhang would scold the child with many hands.
Lying on the ground was a brown paper envelope, which was bulging with something inside.
Doctor Zhang's face turned pale when he saw her picking up the things. He reached out and pulled her, "Get away from me!"
Xie Wanying had to take two steps back, her mind went blank: What's going on?
He bent down and quickly picked up the envelope, staring at Yazhi's little face.
Little Yazhi looked into the doctor's eyes with a pair of innocent little eyes: Yazhi just wants to help, uncle.
After being glared at by her uncle, she had no choice but to hold on to the doctor's clothes with her little hands.
Doctor Zhang saw the child's action and turned to Xie Wanying and shouted, "Did you teach her that?!"
"No, Doctor Zhang." Xie Wanying denied it firmly.
