Chapter 109 Zhuang Pinghua and his wife harbor evil intentions

Liu Aimei didn't go to work the next day. She went back to her parents' home and told them about it. Coincidentally, Zhuang Pinghua and Xiong Jing, a married couple, also came over that evening.

Zhuang Pinghua now works as a security guard at a garment factory in the city, and Xiong Jing found a job as a cashier at the front desk. The couple has settled down in the city and visits the Liu family frequently.

Old Lady Liu scoffed, "Song Guomin fainted after just a couple of arguments. His health is terrible."

Xiong Jing ate some sunflower seeds and said, "None of us in Pinghua are as badly healthy as Song Guomin."

Liu Aimei was a little annoyed when she heard this. She rolled her eyes and said, "By the way, do you know Song Yun's shop? It's getting more and more popular now. There are so many kids in the park who like to eat at Song Yun's."

"I passed by that day and saw Zhuang Xiaoxiao riding a bicycle!"

Every time Liu Aimei said something, Xiong Jing's face would darken.

Liu Aimei sneered inwardly, thinking, "They still dare to show off in front of me."

Xiong Jing's belly is getting bigger and bigger, and she still has to go to work every day. She originally thought that she could enjoy a life of happiness after marrying Zhuang Pinghua, but the Zhuang family had no furniture and the town could not accommodate them, so the couple had no choice but to come to the city to work.

As a result, Xiong Jing now suffers from lower back pain every day, and she feels very irritable.

Zhuang Pinghua narrowed his eyes, having already made up his mind.

Liu Aimei successfully sowed discord and planned to go home after staying for a short while that night. Her sister-in-law, Li Xia, stood at the door of her room, watching Liu Aimei and sneered.

Liu Aimei: "What are you laughing at? What's so funny?"

Li Xia rolled her eyes, went inside, and closed the door.

Liu Aimei felt a surge of anger. If it weren't for Li Xia, she wouldn't even have a place to stay when she went back to her parents' home.

Liu Aimei stormed off again.

The next day, Zhuang Pinghua went to Song Yun's shop after get off work.

It was the time when children came to the park in the afternoon, and there was a crowd around the stalls. Some were buying candied hawthorns, some were buying tea eggs, some were buying sweet soup, and some were buying steamed buns...

Song Yun sells a little bit of everything every day. The variety is great and the food tastes good, so her shop is the most profitable.

Zhuang Pinghua sat down without any hesitation.

Song Yun glared at him, holding two knives in her hand. "What are you doing here? Get out!"

Zhuang Pinghua said in a matter-of-fact tone, "I heard you made money. Give me some money; I'm broke."

Song Yun was stunned by Zhuang Pinghua's shameless tone.

"You're spewing filth. Go back and brush your teeth before you speak. Why should I give you money? Who do you think you are, begging for money like a bandit? If you don't get lost, don't blame me for being impolite!"

Since opening her shop, Song Yun has encountered all sorts of people, and now she speaks with much more confidence than before.

Zhuang Pinghua retorted angrily, "Song Yun, you took all the money and furniture back then, and now I have no money. Shouldn't I be asking you for it?!"

"You were the one who cheated on me and kept another woman, so it's only natural that I take a share of the money. Don't interfere with my business, and get out of here!"

There were still children queuing outside. Seeing that Song Yun wasn't moving, they urged her and then went to urge Zhuang Pinghua.

"Aunt Song is asking you, what are you doing here!"

Zhuang Pinghua: "A bunch of brats, get lost!"

"You're the little brat! Get out! You're disturbing our food shopping!"

It's unclear who started it, but someone grabbed a small stone and started throwing it at Zhuang Pinghua.

Zhuang Pinghua's attempt to show off failed, and he stood up angrily.

Song Yun pointed a knife at him, "Zhuang Pinghua, let me tell you, the police station is nearby, don't do anything rash!"

Several children vowed to defend the stall to the death, and glared angrily at Zhuang Pinghua.

Zhuang Pinghua didn't get any money and was pelted with several stones, so he had no choice but to leave dejectedly, telling Song Yun to wait and see before he left!

Song Yun was furious. She should have gone to the back to get a broom and chased them away!

February is almost over.

The Song family members all got busy one after another, which seemed to lessen the grief brought about by Song Yangmin's passing.

After the winter break, Song Rongrong and Song Yingying returned to school. Song Rongrong is currently interning at a newspaper, but she still has some classes to finish.

Every morning, the Qin family would arrange a car to take Song Yingying to school. Song Rongrong's university was also on the way, and the two sisters would occasionally ride together.

First, I dropped Song Yingying off at the school, and then I took Song Rongrong to school.

After finishing her classes in the morning, Song Rongrong was on her way to the newspaper office when someone called her over as soon as she left the school gate.

"Song Rongrong, the teacher said you're not going to study abroad anymore, what does that mean?"

The man who called out to Song Rongrong was Yan Huai. The two were in the same department and had been classmates for four years. It wasn't until last winter that Yan Huai finally broke the ice.

Yan Huai was tall and handsome, and he looked at Song Rongrong with a serious expression, waiting for her answer.

Song Rongrong pursed her lips. "Something came up at home and I can't go abroad. My job at the newspaper is pretty good right now. You should go abroad; there are more opportunities overseas."

Yan Huai frowned. "But didn't we agree to go abroad together? Tuition and living expenses will hardly require any additional spending."

Song Rongrong sighed. After her second brother passed away, whether she liked someone or not was no longer important to her.

Most importantly, it's about yourself and your family.

"Yan Huai, I'm sorry."

Yan Huai was deeply shocked. "Can you tell me what happened? Is there anything I can do to help?"

Song Rongrong shook her head, took a deep breath and said, "I just want to be closer to home. Yan Huai, if you go abroad, I sincerely wish you a bright future."

After saying that, Song Rongrong turned and left. She sniffed, thinking to herself, "Life is never a place where everything goes exactly as you wish."

It's close to her aunt's shop here, so Song Rongrong plans to go there first to have a bowl of dumplings before going to the newspaper office in the afternoon.

It's only a ten-minute walk away.

When Song Yun saw Song Rongrong arrive, she exclaimed in surprise, "Rongrong, what brings you here at this hour? Come in and sit down quickly. What would you like to eat? Your aunt will get it for you."

Song Rongrong forced a smile, "Third Aunt, I want to eat dumplings."

"OK."

Song Yun cooked fifteen dumplings for Song Rongrong. The aroma of fresh chives calmed Song Rongrong's sadness a little.

Not long after we finished eating, someone came to cause trouble.

A young woman stood outside Song Yun's shop, holding her son who was crying incessantly.

"My son ate your tea eggs yesterday, and he had diarrhea last night. There's something wrong with the food you sell here!"

"I had diarrhea for a whole day and night, and I even had to go to the clinic for an IV drip. The doctor said it was food poisoning!"

"Everyone come quick! Don't eat at this place anymore, everything they sell is rotten!"

Song Yun was packing tea eggs for an old woman when she frowned and said, "Don't talk nonsense, your son didn't come to buy any yesterday!"

Many of the customers were regulars, and Song Yun recognized most of them, but she was completely unfamiliar with this woman and her son.

"You just don't want to take responsibility, huh? What do you mean you didn't come to buy anything? I personally brought my son here to buy something yesterday, and many other people saw it!"

The woman was short and plump. She pointed at Song Yun and spoke rudely, almost like a shrew.
