The next morning, Song Xinfu and his wife, along with Lao Sun, took Chen Zhou to the police station.
The police were surprised to see them arrive.
Why is the Song family here again? They've become regulars at the police station, like VIPs all year round.

Song Xinfu frowned. "Are all those who were harmed people who didn't have proper jobs?"
The police gave two reasons: first, they chose to target people without regular jobs, making it difficult to investigate their social connections; second, the killer had a prejudice against such people and was mentally unstable.
Old Sun quietly added, "They only harm the people of our capital, what cowards."

Once outside the police station, Chen Zhou felt more at ease and less afraid. She asked doubtfully, "Why didn't they say the gender? It's either a man or a woman, right?"
